Sadly, as life gets busier one has to take inventory and decide what he or she will do. Right now, things are busy and I can't see myself playing the game, even a few hours a week. Plus, I find that as players come and go I get a little sad.

I've been semi-inactive lately. I might come in for a few hours in the next few weeks to make a final round and see how things are going, and maybe one more credit purchase for old times sake and to show my thanks. But I'll officially retire after that. I won't do anything stupid like sell my house or destroy my stuff or the like, in case I want to come back months later.

I wanted to take the time right now to thank all of you who provided me with good entertainment and I hope I did the same for many of you. Special thanks go to all the old guard in Magnagora who inspired me, good people like Ialie, Soll, Wuylinfe, Qaletaqa, Marina, Elyrn, Zenji, Nejii, Balizar, Mushjikarg, old gods like Lacostian and Isune, even those enemies I had (those that were entertaining). Special thanks to Estarra, Roark, Morgfyre and all the others for keeping things interesting.

Aww, I know exactly what you mean Tully. It's hard when you want to enjoy those memories you used to have with friends here but can't due to various reasons. Your generosity and caring both in and out the game always stood out remarkably to me, and I've also really enjoyed our interactions together. Best of luck with everything if I don't get to talk to you again (but I hope I can!)

When you have to make a decision, you have to. It was a pleasure knowing you Tully, and best of luck in your endeavors. Don't feel guilty to pop back in to just take a look around once in a while!

Heh, Improved Dwarf stats--well, wouldn't have mattered, I still have no combat abilities.

I'm not really leaving for "better pastures", I still love Lusternia. I just need to cut back on game playing and do other things with free time, etc. (Only game I'm playing now is TF2, mostly for a little stress relief.) I also am not inspired to do much anything in-game right now. Additionally, I think the double-blow of Gary Gygax dying (he was a friend of mine), as well as 4e coming out (with radical changes) have sort of soured me on RPGs in general--I feel sad right now when playing them.

I'll definately log in again to say goodbye in the next few weeks--a retirement party of sorts.

I'll miss you. I have to quit, and probably won't be around the forums much anymore, but I'll always remember the fun I had here. Maybe someday I'll return, but it won't be soon.
