Back to Common Grounds.

It seems I am misreading the Announce.

Is it still possible to get Crow Cloaks set to non-decay, I have heard yes and I've heard no.

Could an admin clarify for me?

Meh, HELP CUSTOMIZING told me. :/

I am really surprised they changed crow-cloaks, personally. Back when I first got it customized, yeah, flying and resistances where there, so I always had it in my pack. Then Kalo once told me they fixed the bug and, after testing, it really seemed like it. But oh well, nothing can be done about that.

Eh. With this change, I don't really see Serenwilde doing much with the undead, but the possibility is still there for Celest to make some kind of a deal for crow cloaks at certain times. It's not something Xenthos would ever have gone for, but Arel/Emar might be more receptive.

It's just no longer a permanent thing, I guess.

They didn't before, anyway. Only Tael had one and used it relatively often, I think.

There were a few in stockrooms as well (which was also changed, for newer ones-- the old ones are still fine though).

They said that there was going to be a grace period for old ones, which means they'll be decaying soon. It doesn't mean they're fine forever. (Though you may have meant "they're fine for now, but they won't be soon". I dunno.)

The grace period announcement was a while ago, and they haven't started yet. At this point, at least, it's looking like they're just grandfathered.

Of course, if they're ever taken outside of a shop during day/month changes, they'll still decay.

I've been pretty generous with the grace period to give people time to use up all those stockpiled supplies. I will probably end it after this week, though (at which point the items will start to decay).

Ah, that works.
