How exactly does forcefield reduce damage? Would resilience still help against the damage done? I see it happening in two ways.
Scenario 1
Baddie hits you.
Resilience takes off a portion of the damage
Forcefield kicks in, taking the damage from your ego instead.
Therefore, resilience is still useful...
Scenario 2
Baddie hits you.
Forcefield kicks in, taking the damage from your ego instead of your heath.
Resilience has no damage to reduce.
I'm hoping someone could help me answer which one this is? Thanks!

Damage hits: Armour and resists kick in
Resilience checks
Hits ego
And in the case of scaling damage it checks your health for what it does not ego.
NOTE: Resilience might be first, never gone that far too check
