Hello. I'm Qwant, a geomancer and usually can be found in the Newton Caverns and the Megalith of Doom(next to, that is.)

I was wondering if there was any advice I should have. I'm reading most of the recommended HELPfiles, I was wondering if there's anymore things to read etc.

Probably best to ask these questions in character, over your guild novice channel, or your city collagium channe, GNT, CGT I think, though if no ones available, your city would be the next best bet.

Quit the IC propaganda on an OOC forum. You fail, Doman. You fail.

Here's my advice. It's mostly about hunting, because from my experience that's what newbies are most focused on.
1. Never be afraid to ask for help if you don't know something. Collegium's channel is your friend.
2. Try to open the portal from Newton Caverns to Lolliprin. It's easy and Lolliprin is a much better place to hunt. Not that Newton is bad.
3. There are always better alternatives to ratting/weeviling. If someone tells you to rat for XP/gold, they're idiots.

Use your time with PORTALS (you have infinite portals before level 10 or 11, then 20 more until level 21, at which point you get cut off) to explore. If you get lost, you can portal back to someplace you know.

Learn the recommended lessons - they are recommended for a reason.

Geomancers have some of the coolest RP in the game, try to get into that.

After newton, I recommend gathering pilgrims, scholars, and bards. Not only will you get money and experience, your city will reward you for bringing the bards and scholars
