Alright, while I was questing tonight, I encountered several problems that I could not overcome, despite hours of relentless searching. After getting the two halves of Myrtle's shell, I was initially unable to find any way to combine them, and instead found a house with children and a woman. This did not show up on any of the maps that I'd seen, but I shrugged and decided it must be part of the chain. Two hours later, I'm searching for children across the flats, and having exhausted every possible option I could think of (I went from location to location, talking, searching, dropping cookies...) I finally gave up.

Either way, having searched the tidal flats from top to bottom and being unable to find anything or anyone that would interact with me further to progress either story, i'm at a loss and forced to conclude that something is broken.

As well, when I completed the quest segment leading up to the search for the children, they told me to take them to the dock. Instead, I moved two squares and they said I was there. When I was kicked off the 'pier' I appeared there, children gone. That's when you pick up the searching quest, but as I said, I was unable to find them.

If someone could just confirm or deny the brokenness of this, or possibly give me a very slight hint about how to proceed, my gratitude would be endless.

The children are not part of the Myrtle quest.

Unfortunately there is a rule that you can't post about bugs on the forums, so if it was people wouldn't be able to tell you.

Yes they would, and there's also a lot of bugs people could abuse if they found out about it, so I guess the admin just like to ban it altogether to avoid getting into arguments.

I guess... well, unless anyone can directly tell me this is not a bug and you could possibly search out so and so to complete the quest, i'll just drop the shells and go to bed.

If you feel it is a bug, feel free to file a bug report on what you did, what happened, etcetera.

All of the bugs in Lusternia have this nightmarish horror in their minds of a crack team of admin, who'll squash bugs at an ungodly speed.

What about the Nature Orb bug that's existed since Domoths were introduced?

The Myrtle quest has a funky ending. It's not a bug, as it can be completed to get the honors line. It's just very...strange, specific, not-what-first-comes-to-mind at the end (in terms of how you do what comes next, not what actually comes next).

Heh, I don't know if that confused or helped. The point is, no, that particular quest isn't broken (at least it wasn't when I did it), and it's distinct from the children's quest, as Rika has said.

As much as I love your quests sometimes, it gets frustrating when there seems no logical way to proceed. (I even stole cookies from the cookie jar and dropped them, ate them, etc. Children shouldn't be so good at hiding.)

Just do that in-game.

BUG , where is replaced with a description of what you think is wrong. Be very descriptive and give lots of details.
