Well, I'm currently figuring out that it's rather difficult to play PS3 games on a standard television. I can't read anything, nor can I make out tiny object in the distance during most first person shooters. (I've only demos so far)
Any how, I'm planning on buying an HD capabile display, but I'm not sure if I should get a television or a computer monitor. I know monitors don't come with speakers, but they'll allow me to hook it up to my PC... if I ever upgrade past my darn Geforce 2... but I'm not sure how I'd get audio to work. At the same time, I could get a television... but I'm not sure of what I'd be able to do with it if I ever hooked it up to my PC.
So I've come here, to ask the opinions of everybody else, which would be better a Television or a Monitor? (Size doesn't matter)

Most HDTVs have PC inputs nowadays, so I'd say just get the biggest HDTV you can afford. Since I upgraded from the standard 27" TV to the 50" plasma HDTV, my game playing has gotten much better. I can see EVERYTHING now!

I really enjoy our 65" Mitsubishi HDTV. Bit pricey though at about $2000. I only have a PS2 though, never played the new gen systems on it. My friend's PS3 is pretty nice on his 50"ish HDTV.

If you get a Wii and you have an HDTV, spend the extra cash to get the component A/V cables. It makes a big difference in not only the clarity of the display, but it also improves the cursor movement. My cursor was fairly jittery on 480i, and now it's very steady on 480p.
