Maybe I'm going crazy, but wasn't there a sticky post that explained the basic of making your own system? It included tips on queuing afflictions. I think Thorgal made it or Forren. I'm sorry, I can't remember. I've been wracking my brain and trying every search possibility I can think of.

I figured I might as well use this topic for this question, rather than opening a new thread.

I'm trying to make my cure aliases (Zmud), and I'm just wondering what all counts as an herb, salve, etc. From searching through the combat logs, this is the best that I can come up with:

Herbs: horehound, galingale, reishi, wormwood, yarrow, kombu, pennyroyal, marjoram, myrtle, calamus, arnicachest, arnicahead, arnicaarms, arnicalegs

Salves: mendhead, mendarms, mendlegs, regenhead, regenchest, regenguts, regenarms, regenlegs, melanchest, melanhead, liniment

Elixirs: frost, phlegmatic, sanguine, choleric, antidote (I'm not sure if fire is a cure for anything... I couldn't find a diagnose message for it)

Allheale: allheale

Smoke: coltsfoot, myrtle (faeleaf, too, but...well you know)

If I missed any, please point them out for me.

Fire is a cure for all the freezing thingies. Like shivering and being frozen.

Thought so. I'm not sure how I missed it in the diagnose list I was using. I made it an alias anyway, just in case.

Are the rest of my cures correct? I had particular fun hunting down whether melancholic was a salvebalance or elixirbalance.

Smoking and herbs are the same balance. Sparkleberries do cure burst vessels, just remember they are on their own balance.

Is that a recent change? For some reason I was reading somewhere that smoking didn't but you off herb balance, you just needed it. So you could just smoke smoke smoke, and then herb...

It was changed a couple years ago, at least. It's an old, old change. Only myrtle and coltsfoot smoking use up herb balance. Faeleaf is still balance-less.
