Due to a recent boost in income, I've decided that it was high time I purchased a/some greatrunes. I already have 140 credits stockpiled from credit sales, forging payments, etc, and I have enough money available to splurge that I can afford to buy 200 more, giving me a possible total of 340.
I have a waraxe (360.297.191) and I'm reworking a klangaxe right now into an x.440ish.240ish speed wounder. I also have a hunting axe, 142.257.280.
Now here's where it gets kinda tricky for me to decide.
I could go the typical route for beatstick warriors and buy a damage mod rune for 250 and put that on the waraxe. Or, I could buy two bleeding runes for the exact same price and either put them on the waraxe, the speedwounder, or the hunting axe.
Here's what I'm thinking: With two bleeding runes on the waraxe, I could pile in the damage like I normally do while racking up bleeding. The prc will be crap once I've tempered it down, so the best I can ever hope to get on a single attack is LacerateArm/Leg, SliceForehead, Fracturearm, SnapRib, RingingEar, OpenGut, and/or OpenChest. From their descriptions, they all describe heavy bleeding which should be amplified by the Bleeding Runes, right?
Also, if I do go with the double bleeding runes, I could put them on the speedwounder, or maybe even the hunting axe. By using maneuvers aiming specifically for lacerate/open afflictions and then maybe some upper level wounds like SlitThroat, I could use the klangaxe's superior speed to apply both afflictions and poisons faster. Throw in some Dulak, Senso, and Haemotox (and any other suggestions) and just keep the target so busy curing with yarrow that eating chervil takes a backseat while they try to clot. Is this a feasible tactic?
Also, I'm considering reincarnating into human for the lvl 2 exp bonus.
So, any advice from the professional warriors out there?

If you're going to get damagemod runes, get 2.
Bleed runes help, but they shouldn't be that important until you've got other more important runes already.

A quick question about damage mod runes.
Arcane Soldier is pretty much useless, because anyone half competent has a magic proofed cloak/coat. There are several protections against Fire and Cold damage. The most popular is the Lightning rune because some races have a weakness to it or no resistances, and there's no way to reduce the damage other than a defense that flat out says "This reduces all damage."
My question is this: is Serpent's Kiss worth anything? Does it inflict random poisons, or is it just change the damage into poison damage? I know that the Snake Totem, NightGarb, and several other things say that they reduce poison damage, and Tae'dae have lvl 3 poison resistance, but outside of that I'm not sure.
CODE
Arcane Soldier                  Magic Damage      250 credits
Elemental Fires                  Fire Damage        250 credits
Freezing Heart                  Cold Damage        250 credits
Serpent's Kiss                  Poison Damage      250 credits
Jagged Lightning                Electrical Damage  250 credits

Poison damage.

Most people go with fire and electric runes in terms of damage. Not to many resistances out there for those two types of damage and most races have either a fire or electric weakness. Sometimes both like mugwumps.

I went with fire/electric cuz they are the only two elements that archtypes don't have insane resistances towards. Though you could also with just double fire which is pretty good too, you would be able to wreck some of the more tankier races (Orclach: level 3 fire weakness, Igasho: level 2 fire weakness)
The only thing bleeder runes are good for is if you've already got stat/wound/elemental runes attached to weapons. With 340 credits if you snatch another 60 somehow you can get 2 +5's stat and 2 +5% wounders for the axe. Then, slowly start upgrading from there.

Bleeding runes are not very effective and do not stack with many wounding afflictions (e.g. rend for BMs). Only get them after you have FULL L3 runes+elementals. Bleeding tactics from warriors only work on people with low health and mana, regardless of bleed runes.
Go with Lightning/Fire, best way to cover all the basis. Serpent's kiss is just like all elemental runes, converts the corresponding damage type, no afflictions or any of that nonsense. (Read the help file *thwap*)
