Construct Combat

So post your thoughts about construct combat (weakenings, bombardment, colossi etc.) Since the construct committee is being asked to make suggest about that and we don't want to take forever, try and throw out some ideas. I won't say who else is in it since that doesn't seem to be the plan right now but they might end up reading this anyway. I should probably give the disclaimer that no one is under any obligation to listen to and/or argue with you but some kind of constructive commentary might help anyway.

I've never been too involved in construct combat aside from focusing the constructs and occasionally manning a turret, but...does anyone ever use the collosi? When that rolled out, I was all like "WOOT MECH WARFARE!" but I've never seen or heard much talk about these collosi since. Give em some love (unless I'm completely mistaken and they are a crucial part of weakenings)

You can't fight without at least one Colossus.

I was (well, probably still am since they're not being used much any more) the Glom expert on Colossus/Construct warfare because at the beginning, there were combats nearly every weakening. They were fun, but there's very little reason to do it now that the combat itself is skewed towards defense and the Constructs themselves don't give a powerful enough effect to want to destroy.

Well, I'd say there's still reason to destroy it. Aren't the power costs still absurdly high? I remember something being like 750k power alone or something. Maybe I'm confused. But if anything, I'm pretty confident in saying that they're generally at least 100k power to raise one and with VA possiblity, that's a nice blow. Plus siphoning a portion of the power for your own nexus is nice. Is it half?

But yeah, these things are pretty much impossible to destroy at this point and these 'temporary' constructs have now become permanent ones.

Permanent ones that suck power to upkeep >.>

30,000 power at the moment to rebuild the most expensive one. That's not a huge amount.
