This is something that's been floating around my head for awhile now, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed. Jewelry is a good tradeskill compared to some other ones that have more problems, but it's not perfect. So here are my ideas, which I encourage people to add to.

BAUBLES

* Allow pendants and prayer beads to be worn with 2 necklaces.

GEMCUTTING

* Add new types of material cut from clusters: bone, amber, and topaz (and whatever other people in here suggest, if they're good).

* Slightly buff the amount of gems cut at all skill levels and with the artifact hammer to make the most of the limited supply of clusters from NPC comm shops, and to accomodate for the new cluster commodities.

PIERCING

* Shorten the huuuuuuugely long balance that comes after piercing someone. Is there really a point (lolpun) in having it be so insanely long?

GENERAL GLOBAL

* Slightly boost the amount of months on crafted jewelry items for all skill levels below trans, so the noobish jewelers aren't totally obsolete.

A lot of these sound like bugs, and should be filed appropriately. You're far more likely to garner attention to them by BUGing them IG than by posting them on the forums, promise.

Also, we're allowing obsidian in items, however they require inferno beetle corpses, as the lining of their stomach is actually obsidian!

Okay. Is there a character limit on bug reports?

Not that I've found yet, and I've filed some lengthy bug reports.

Still, it may be better to file a few different reports on different subjects so they can be directed to the right people (or dismissed if not a bug). Also easier to read than a huge essay touching on 10 different issues.

Put them all into a letter, send one to the Charites, one to Morgfyre?

I think they prefer bug reports.

You wouldn't want to devalue the BUG, would you?

This was supposedly fixed back in January last year, and I have no idea why I still remember that...

Original post edited to remove the buggable stuff; I compromised by submitting a bug report with several big examples and a promise to inform them of more on request, so as not to make a giant spamlog.

The pin thing seems the craziest to me.... though I suppose we should keep the "chest as a pin cushion" look as an option for devotees of Nifilhema.
