okay the effect of this is pretty simple, but the cause has me losing mah hair:

I cant log onto Lusternia via mushclient or (shudder) nexus. Response from nexus client is:

Login incorrect or not permitted

Ive changed my password several times; makes no difference.

I *can*

- log into Aetolia (created a new character just to try) using their nexus client & Mush, no problems.
- log into character at the Lusternia www to check messages.

Nemerle's not shrubbed, so cant be that. Just got a new Ip after 3 weeks away - might it be blocked?

advice welcome, wish lusty support would help, but no response from them yet.

I had this too a few days ago. Was IP block for me, and support got it fixed quickly.

Any chance someone could point support to this thread? Ive emailed about this for a couple of days and have had no response.

Does support normally email you to let you know they have looked at a problem and maybe fixed the issue?

I dont know whether to keep on emailing support (ive had no response to requests for assistance so far) or maybe approach my ISP for a different Ip address. The latter will cost me money id prefer to spend on credits. Actually, id prefer to spend it beer, but thats another story.

Support emailed me within a day both times I emailed (first was to discern the problem, second was to fix it).

Im pretty sure Lusty doesnt like my home IP, cause i can log in from other addresses. That sucketh muchly, as i really only access from home.

I did get an email this morning saying someones looking at it, but that was 8 hrs ago.
