Currently, I switched my main from Kante to a Blacktalon named Tynghall.
Now, I'm thinking of switching to Magnagora and either becoming a Geomancer or a Nihilist. Now, perhaps someone could list the different pros and cons of both guilds, and the general roleplay found within?
Edit: Also, which would have the least lesson loss?

Lesson loss is going to be about identical, because you'll want to drop your tertiary and take psionics if you go Geomancer.
Combat for both is radically different. I'm assuming you know the cursory differences. Geomancers are probably easier to play out of the gate. Similar top tier potential, although you could make a serious argument that Geomancers are favored there too.
Roleplay in both is atrocious. Minor bonus to the Nihilists there, but it's like a damage modifier on cudgel. Crap * 1.15 = diluted crap. Only reason that the Nihilists get mention is that there are individual Nihilists who are good at RP and manage to carry on without social support.
Carry on!

Druid to Guardian...like I just did...is a minimal lesson loss.
Geo is much, much easier than Nihilist to pick up. It's also just better in general, despite what anyone says...Nihilist combat kind of blows.
RP is better with the Nihilists. The Geos were never RP heavy.
A high int Geo in demesne is pretty much the best pure damage you can achieve in Lusternia other than artied warriors (but they beat everyone at everything). Your demesne will tic for an impressive chunk of damage, claws, phantom, reality, telepathy. Geo is just easy and powerful. Better race choices too.

Nihilists although quite gimped atm are one of the most versatile and fun classes in the game. Go Nihily

I don't know. I just kind of wanted something different.
To sum up things to everyone else, I went Nihilist.
