League of Enigmatic Villians

by Prisch

Back to Common Grounds.

Like the title implies,
I've been wanting something like this for a while.

I try to treat Elostian's Order this way, but it really just isn't..

Something along the lines of attacking another group or collecting information for the sake of something greater, having our own hidden agenda, etc. Not anything like, "omg betraying the orgz", perhaps even benefitting it.

I think this would make for some great RP.
Whos interested?

We do not necessarily have to be evil or villians, infact I'd rather not be. But objectives and such can be discussed and compramised.

I once had an idea of doing a whole 'scarlet pimpenel' type thing. Hidden behind one personality, then another the next with an agenda

never really got off the ground, to be honest it was a passing fancy

We should try again.

Hmm. HMMM?

Jelaludin is in. I need to get back onto org helpfiles as "extremely dangerous" etc. like way back when. And I don't have any active IC clans either. But IC clans with a theme and a goal are few and far between and it would be nice to be in one that I didn't start.
Prisch2008-06-24 05:42:21
Prisch is more of a follower than anything,
so it would be unfitting to place rule on her, unless everyone is fine doting on a short little girl who is partially out of it most of the time.
Furien2008-06-24 05:53:02
Damn, I liked Prisch.

Also, I think it only applies to Elostian's order when you're a Gloom..but even then, nobody sees Elostian as threatening. Fain, though, is perfect for hidden agendas.

I'm glad thats the case.

I think Elostian's order has so much potential to be super sneaky and do these sorts of things, but there is a lack of enthusiasm or people are 'busy'. Now that he is org-netural this fact is further solidified because anyone can be part of it and not feel like their relationship with Him is strained.

Fain hates elfen so, so that is a no go.

Guess the idea of running around and doing things for someone is heavily appealing to me for some reason.

You can still give it a shot! Only problem is, though, that he might care so little about elfen that he wouldn't look out for you if you're caught.

Once upon a time I heavily considered Raezon, thought it would be interesting for a high elfen to be in His order or the reactions of other Mag members.
The stark contrast is intruiging.

Ateeheehee, k.
So evil.
Ryleth2008-06-24 18:47:27
I don''t really think Elo's order is cut out for that kind of thing unfortunatly. My problem with the whole scarlet pimpernel concept was a lack of what to focus on - I didn't have the 'rescue nobility from the revolution' thing going. I had an idea with the centaurs, which went all of two anonomous letters...bleh

But we possibly could work something out, especially if you come armed with ideas
Druken2008-06-24 18:53:36
My problem with stuff like this is the sheer improbability of an eclectic group of mortals from all over the Basin coming together... ever, let alone randomly to discuss coming up with something that was inspired from the forums.

If, somehow, it were orchestrated in a way that bypasses all that red tape, I think it'd be a great idea. smile.gif

Hm, I was thinking far more grand than centaurs.
Maybe something to do with money and hoarding it, creating the most powerful financial group of the Basin dedicated to balancing/controlling the Basin's economy..or going about finding/doing different things through comission for people who pay us to do 'jobs'. Looking for different ways to awaken/seal different gods which we adore/discriminate against.

There are plenty of ideas.
Selverad2008-06-24 19:00:26
You want to be the Illuminati.

Ideally at some point in time it would be around 7 people, all super-powerful and well known.
So whenever we went somewhere or did something people would be like, "Look, they did this".

The Noah, Organisation XIII, Elite Four, Frontier Brain, Vongolo Mafia.
All typical formulation for plenty of storylines.
All same thing really.

Hmm, wouldn't it be either that they personally did this, or the 'super-leet-secret-org' did this?
the organisation would be strictly secret, based on seperate cells maybe.

And yes as Druken says making such happen would be tough RP wise
(well not tough, just take some planning)

Both really.

It would be a little hard.
then again each Org could have their own and it could be like League of Enigmatic Villians Conflict.

but seriously, I don't mind working with people form other orgs, as long as their intention doesn't stem into using eachother for information that could be abused.

Xenthos comes home from a hard day of bashing to find that his manse has been broken into. As he walks into his study, he sees a shadowy figure standing behind his desk. "Who are you?"

"My name is Warlord Murphy, the Fury. I'm here to talk to you about the Avechna Initiative."

Toll credits.

I invision it a la Akatsuki.

Not totally evil but doing some manipulative things.
