I've been thinking of this idea for a bit now. Would it be possible to implement something on the Lusternia.com website that would allow us to message people without having to log in? When I'm at work, and I go to see my messages via the website, I can't log in to the game. (Don't ask).
Just wondering if this would be a good idea and feasible.

Hope you've done well in the past year or more!
Sorry for derailing Marina.
It would be a nice idea if possible, but.. not really necessary.

I have played on muds which allowed you to email char@mud.com and it would show up as an in game message for them. You could also link your in game messages up to an external email.
I guess messages are odd in Lusternia. Most seem to use them as a mix of IC and OOC, almost no one uses letters regularly. So I could see arguments both for and against allowing better access to them out of the game beyond any technical issues.

I know this is a bit late, but I agree with tho first post. I have this same problem at times, due to that computer, not having Java and I was wondering if this could be done, so that I could send a messages even though I can't get on at the time.

I believe it's SQL, so it would "technically" be possible. Whether they would devote the time/effort needed to integrate or even allow it from an IC/OOC perspective? Who knows.
