I wrote up a fairly basic lesson calculator with Microsoft Office 2003 Excel, using VBA macros.

I wrote it for myself, but I'm putting it up here to help anyone else who needs it.
It can :
  • calculate how many lessons you've spent in a skill with rank/percent
  • how many lessons you need until next rank
  • what rank/percent a certain number of lessons will get you (from Inept 0%)
  • calculate lesson loss from pool transfers
  • do lesson <-> credits conversions
And it has some homemade skillwebs for quick reference.

Download from fileshack

If the file generates a macro warning, those macros are just for the 'what rank/percent a certain number of lessons will get you' - the rest should work fine if you don't want to run them.

Pretty snazzy!!
The only problem I have with this, is that it autocalculates a credit at 6 lessons per. Or am I wrong?

No, you're right, it doesn't count the bonus for binding credits, only for converting bound credits to lessons. Should be fairly easy to add in the extra 2.5.

And updated:

Get the updated version here.

Now it's got another option for binding credits near the bottom left. Set it to 1 if you want the bonus to be calculated, or 0 if you don't.

This reminded me about my old one, I still havent made the independent version (which this could cover for! but I still plan to make one as a stand alone app).

Anyway this is a -zmud- lesson calculator you can import, go to the links here and read!

Is there a way to see what percentage of a rank you currently have?
