Hello, I currently play Xthel a Shadowlord Faeling. This post is to clarify something I just learned about the warrior changes.
I have a set of hammers (213 and 214 prec respectively) which I use for combat. I used to spar quite a few people and never really checked their wounding. Thing is, I fought people who had the old fullplates before they were removed and I'm sure both stats were above 100 points. I could stick afflictions and build up on wounds then with medium afflictions. Unfortunately, I don't have any logs to confirm this.
After some extensive testing on an opponent with a 90/90 fieldplate, I find that the wounding formula has been changed pretty drastically. I usually stick to combatstyle lightning. Now it does 278 wounds or something very similar. With combatstyle concentrated, I do 311 wounds. I really don't know how I can build up on wounds at that level or if its permanent (May be a bug or a problem with the code).
Extra information: I have 14 strength and 19 dexterity after buffs.
EDIT: Friend I sparred a lot said the same hammers used to do 407 wounds consistently on fullplate. Logs were dug up to get this data.

I've seen something similar. As a 23 STR Demigod with 15 DEX, combatstyle concentrated, sword at 117/478/265, I can't even put a cloth wearer with no Resilience into heavy wounds.

I'm taking 501 EDIT: wounds not damage without soft and about 600 with it from a demigod monk with higher than average prec shofa here (undeffed but I don't think any of my defs lower wounds.) That's about as high as it was before. I'm guessing this is a side-effect of combat style changes?

If it's a bug, you know what to do.

It's not a monk issue? Plus, isn't the title "wounding" not "damage"?

I'm clearing up that it's not a monk issue and thus it's probably a combatstyle issue, yeah. And I meant wounds not damage when talking about the numbers, my mistake.

Yeah I do 217 wounds, which is less than I did on spec plate in testing. Yoink?
And yes, I did use the command.

Reason I posted was because I wasn't sure if this was a bug or just a nerf. I issued it at the same time. Now that you've suggested it though, I bugged it too.

heh, i only do 400, 200 against trueshield with a 250 prec scimitar against 47 cutting robes and i have 15 percent wounders on them. imagine what i think.

Now that's almost comical. Warriors doing less wounding than monks.
I do feel for you though.

I'm really hoping this is a bug, and not a nerf, because I've finally decided that out of my four characters, I want to get Selverad to Demi, and he's a Serenguard forger.... The fullplate thing and now this are making me nervous.

This is related to the combatstyle change, and the announce that says, "If you notice funky things, please report it!" (Announce 1135) While it was tested for hours, there were nowhere near as many people there as there are live (and it's also been live for a couple of days now).
So: Please report it!

Something odd is going on

Fixed and such.
