You know I wondered when I saw the Topic, if it was That Watchmen.

And it is.

Browser crashes when I try the link, but if this is an adaptation of the Watchmen comic by Alan Moore, I'm in.

I've never read it, but I really need to. It's probably one of, if not the best graphic novel ever written.

I don't know how you decide that without having read it...but if you find it, let me know, I gotta show some friends so they know what I'm talking about.

I've heard about it forever. And even Time Magazine recognized it as one of the 100 best english-literature works since 1923 (I think or 1927).

my girlfriend had to read it for her honors humanity class on comic/graphic novels. And so she is making me read it, but i've only heard good things. Trailer looked freaking awesome though without knowing anything about what actually happens.

The question around my office was... "Why is raiden getting blown to bits?"

It's not going to live up to the graphic novel but oh well, the visuals look pretty spot-on at least.

its so freaking good, cant wait for movie. hope it lives up. and has sad ending even though, it was hella sad

heard that Alan Moore thinks it will fail, but i hope he's wrong.

Alan Moore seems to be pretty negative about comic to movie adaptations in general. He tries not to be associated with any of the ones based on his work, and the reason he left DC is because they didn't apologize for V for Vendetta's movie producer apparently lying about Moore's interest in the film.
