QUOTE
Seren Brave Vhedra (Female Loboshigaru).
She is 16 years old, having been born on the 7th of Dioni, 200 years after the
Coming of Estarra.
She is unranked in Lusternia.
She is an extremely credible character.
She is a Ward in the Great Alliance of Serenwilde.
She is a Landloper in the Fellowship of Explorers.
She is a graduate of the Ancestral Glade of the Moonharts.
Her motto: 'The Weaver weaves as the Weaver wills.'
She is considered to be approximately 10% of your might.
She is not currently active in any family.
Vhedra tilts her head curiously.
You beat your wings furiously, hovering in the air.
You have emoted: Latl carasses the mahogany lyre in his right hand gently with the
left.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Hello."
Quietly, you chime, "Rain and snow mingled, in cooling winter morning, united in
act."
Vhedra tilts her head and listens intently.
Quietly, you chime, "Grass blooming early, in the warm springtime sunrise,
calling back beauty."
Quietly, you chime, "Verdant beauty shown, in the warming summer day, beckoning
lovely."
Quietly, you chime, "Circle given end, in the autumn's frosty leaves, begin yet
again."
With a graceful step back and a sweeping bow, you play a complex sequence of
notes. Pale images of ancient spirits surround Vhedra briefly, their voices
harmonizing with the song.
Vhedra's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
You have emoted: Latl closes his eyes as the tune fills the air. The essence of
Fae realms covering the landscapes.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Words aptly spoken of Nature's beauty."
.
You have emoted: Latl smiles slowly as the tune fades, bowing gracefully while
still hovering in the air.
You have emoted: Latl, slowing his wings, descends upon the earth yet again
quietly.
Quietly, you say, "We should remember the past, even as time does flow, it is
that which last, the stories all warriors should know."
Quietly, you say, "Tell me then young Seren brave, have you known of taints past
crimes? Do you know what drives that knave? Do you know of ancient times?.."
Vhedra ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Still a youngling am I, and I've not been taught of
such things, but you've made it quite clear what importance it brings."
You smile softly.
Quietly, you say, "You should walk beneath the home of our lore, all the tomes
describe our story, reading is not at all a sore, these books are exciting do
not worry."
Vhedra looks about herself, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "So many things they wish to teach, I've learned this
all in time.. It the simple question where to start, its been quite hard to
find."
.
Quietly, you say, "Spiritsingers know them all, every tale the forest saw,
ignorance the greatest wall, in understanding the forests law."
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "A Spiritsinger has knowledge then.. I wonder if you
are one of them?"
Quietly, you say, "But you are different are you not? From that brave which does
not care, of those there are quite a lot, a ignorant brave does quite a scare.."
You chuckle long and heartily.
The corners of Vhedra's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.
You say, "I am of the Spiritsong, of this I knew you knew long."
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Heh, aye it seemed to me at first quite clear, and I'm
none a Seren you should fear. The only troubles are the ones I face, but I take
them at a steady pace."
Quietly, you say, "But the tomes they tell much better, unless you of course do
not think, that the dead and cold letter, do the right story and feeling
link?.."
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Where are these tomes you speak of so fondly? I'd wish
to revel in the knowledge you do."
You smirk.
You beckon to Vhedra.
Vhedra begins to follow you.
You say, "I will show you first to our stage, then to the tomes of our old
tales, first the home of the actor and sage, then that of old books which
stories hails."
Vhedra smiles softly.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "You're helpfulness is without measure, I'd be glad to
follow along. For me its been the greatest pleasure to share in the stories and
song."
(Along to the stage)
An open, grassy area.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Reaching
up as high as the eye can see looms the awesome presence of a living totem. Soft
hues of light illuminate the small shrine here, situated within a tangle of
delicate bluebells. Sitting on a large base, a massive sundial rests here.
Wreathed in vines and adorned with chimes, a sturdy stage has been built into
the slope here. A mature hornbeam tree stands proudly here. Leading deep into
the forest, a tangled path twists every which way here. A small stone milestone
thrusts up from the ground, engraved with but a single name.
You see exits leading southwest and through a path twisting every which way.
The stage brightens and focuses, revealing the scene to be not sky but sea - a
clear blue cean, dancing with scattered light from the surface far above. The
sea seems empty, but slowly shifts and shimmers.
The scene seems to blur and waver, and focuses all at once into a breathtaking
panorama of a coral reef, vividly coloured and teeming with life. Bright fish
dart among the coral, and tiny firefly squid shimmer in and out of view like
tiny candles.
In a secluded nook of this reef is a small garden, with bushes of coral and sea
anemone. The bed of the garden is scattered with tiny shells in the manner of
gravel, and a large, living clam serves as a bench. Upon the bench sit two
merians: a very young girl, cupping a tiny piece of coral in her palms, and a
slightly older boy, who is reading a book.
You smile softly.
Seren Brave Vhedra tilts her head slightly and observes the stage with hints of
fascination.
Vhedra giggles happily.
You flash Vhedra a joyous smile.
Lyrea el'Arai says, "Gorob, look at this! I think I've heard about this kind of
coral before. It's really rare! Papa gave it to me."
Gorob mumbles incoherently, eyes still fixed on his book of engraved
mother-of-pearl. His fingers trace patterns in the water as he reads, as if
sketching out pictures.
Lyrea el'Arai says, "Gorob, you're no fun."
Lyrea el'Arai crosses her arms and sulks wildly.
Raising his head, Gorob says, "Hm, what?"
Gorob looks bewildered.
Lyrea el'Arai says, "Were you listening at all?"
Gorob opens his mouth, then closes it again.
Gorob says, "No."
Vhedra's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
Lyrea el'Arai gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
You sit yourself down.
Vhedra sits down.
Lyrea el'Arai says, "Thought so. Anyway, Papa says I can learn from the
Coral-keepers if I want to when I grow up. You'll be in the Coral-keepers too,
won't you? I'm sure they're the nicest guild in the city!"
Gorob says, "Mmh, coral. Nope."
Gorob returns to his book, only to have it snatched away from him by Lyrea.
Lyrea el'Arai says, "Oh, you always bury your nose in these. What are they
about, anyway?"
Lyrea el'Arai turns the book over and reads its cover aloud.
Lyrea el'Arai says, "'Runes of Power and the Concentration of Mental Energies'?"
Lyrea el'Arai looks skeptical.
Gorob says, "Hey, give that back."
Gorob makes a grab for the book, but Lyrea, lightning-quick, swims out of his
reach.
Lyrea el'Arai says, "You'll have to get it if you want it!"
Lyrea el'Arai tucks the tiny book in the pocket of her dress and swims off.
You smile softly.
Gorob says, "Hey!"
Gorob swims after Lyrea in hot pursuit through the coral, until the shallow
plateau on which the garden was falls away beneath him, and the city of
Glomborolum comes into view.
Vhedra giggles happily.
Gorob swims after Lyrea in hot pursuit through the coral, until the shallow
plateau on which the garden was falls away beneath him, and the city of
Glomborolum comes into view.Glomborolum is a sight to move the most weary heart.
The streets are of white sand, paved with shells in a rainbow of colours, and
slender spires of pink and white coral rise into the heights. Vivid tropical
fish swim in schools among the spires, much like pigeons in the sky, and many
merians walk in the streets, going about their daily business.
Lyrea el'Arai darts towards the greatest building of all, a great palace of
pearl and pink coral, polished and glimmering like an underwater rose.
The doors of the palace open, and a stately procession of merians walks out,
fanning forth with fanfare and pomp. Lyrea vanishes amongst them, her tiny form
disappearing in the crowd.
Gorob says, "Lyrea, you little twit! Come back!"
Gorob swims into the head of the procession.
Gorob says, "Oops, sorry!"
Lord Rithaen el'Arai stares implacably about himself.
Lord Rithaen el'Arai says, "Who are you, young man?"
Gorob says, "Er, Gorob. I'm a ward of the Runists guild, sir."
Lord Rithaen el'Arai narrows his eyes unnervingly.
(There was alot of more theater which I had to cut out due to space)
Your need for sustenance is becoming serious. You must find food soon or you
will begin to suffer harm.
You whisper to Vhedra, "You stay here and watch this play, I must to food make
my way... Back I will be soon enough, the waiting time wont be tough."
Vhedra nods her head affirmatively.
You teleport along the aether strands to the Moonhart Mother Tree.
Vhedra follows you ether.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Maybe it would've been helpful to remember I was
following."
Quietly, you say, "I must say sorry for that my dear, I didnt know you were
following so near."
Quietly, you say, "None the matter you will find the tale again, just remember
where and when."
You nod your head emphatically.
The corners of Vhedra's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.
(Moved along to the elevator)
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "An interesting place this is.. I don't believe I've
ever been."
With a creaking sound, the room slowly begins to rise upwards.
The room begins to pick up speed, the wooden boards groaning as unseen winches
whine and squeak.
The boards that make up this room begin to creak even more as the room rises,
the ropes above clearly struggling with the weight.
With a thump from above, the room comes to a halt.
A wooden screen slides away from the eastern wall, to reveal an open archway.
Quietly, you say, "There are many secrets in the forest."
The lever clicks back into its normal position.
(On to the Gargling Pixie)
You get 868 gold sovereigns from a backpack embroidered with musical notes.
You pay 188 sovereigns and receive 2 stuffed bread shaped like the Moonhart
Mother Trees.
You consume a stuffed bread shaped like the Moonhart Mother Tree leisurely,
enjoying every bite.
Starting with the wedge that has already been cut, you take a big bite of the
loaf. Spices and oily richness fill your mouth, followed by the smooth texture
of melted cheeses. The meat and cheese are smoky, and their heaviness is offset
by the still slightly crisp vegetables and crusty bread that crunch against your
teeth. Each bite leads to another until the entire loaf has been consumed almost
in a frenzy of sensual pleasure.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Many I've yet to discover, I'm sure."
Quietly, you say, "Well at last to many a book, shall we take a quick look?"
You smile softly.
Vhedra nods her head in agreement.
You notice Vhedra's eyelids are beginning to droop.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Though first I think I should get some rest.. It'll be
better to visit when I'm at my best."
The corners of Vhedra's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.
You nod your head emphatically.
Seren Brave Vhedra says, "Excuse me for a moment then."
Vhedra closes her eyes, curls up into a ball and falls asleep.
Your mouth turns up as your face breaks into a smile.
You nod your head emphatically.
You hear the reinforced door to the down being unlocked.
The reinforced door to the down is opened from the other side.
The door to the down slams shut.
Serella raises her hand in greeting and says "Hi!"
Eyes closed in sleep, Vhedra lifts her head, as if straining to see something.
You flash Serella a joyous smile.
Serella claps her hands together merrily.
Serella L'Eternae says, "Customers!"
Serella skips about merrily.
Smiling, you say, "The bread is great, im fully content."
You say, "I was just showing this brave a bit of Seren history and culture."
Vhedra opens her eyes and yawns mightily.
You nod your head at Vhedra.
Vhedra stretches languidly.
Vhedra stands up and stretches her arms out wide.
You say to Vhedra, "Shall we continue?"
You smile softly at Vhedra.
Vhedra nods her head at you.
You beckon to Vhedra.
(On to the Library)
The Arboreal Library.
Superimposed over this location, an ethereal forest reaches up to the sky. A
library catalogue rests here on a pedestal. Geometric patterns festoon a desk
that stands here at the ready. Ivy strands wrap around an impressive chair here.
A painting of Great Rockholm Gate is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall. There
are 5 frost hags here. You may use the LIBRARY commands here.
You bow respectfully to Vhedra.
Vhedra's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
Smiling, you say, "The journey is over for you and me, perhaps in the future
meet shall we?"

I have way, way too much time.
Devoting a few hours to every young'un I meet is quite interesting though, helps everyone get immersed
Now, for comments, and how would you encourage bardics/background knowledge?
