When performing a kata, sometimes people get entangled/proned. Hey, it happens, right?

But sometimes, against denizens, it pauses your kata. Once you writhe/focus/stand, it doesn't continue. And when you try to perform the kata again, it says you are in the middle of one, and have to wait.

But it won't let you, until you KATA TERMINATE.

Anyone else noticed this?

If this is happening it is very likely a bug. Try to test it and find out more information about what's causing it, then submit a bug report.

I doubt its a bug, It may be because you have fallen down and need to stand up? or are stunned or haven't regainned balance there are alot of reasons it wouldn't continue but pause.

You shouldn't have to kata terminate after getting paused though. If what you're saying is happening, its definitely a bug.

The way the kata thing works is that you cannot perform a new kata if its within the first 3 forms This is not a bug.

So if a mob webs you, you just can't use that skillset anymore?

basicly not untill you writhe.

But he does writhe, and it still doesn't go.

Yeah, I'm standing, NOT entangled any more, not stunned. Once today, while hunting on an alt, I did a kata , was entangled/prone, writhed out, stood, and the battle was over. The person I was following moved to the next room, and when I tried to kata, I had to terminate.


I've noticed it mostly happens with kephera. Sometimes with grubs.
