So, I was hunting sharks, and at somepoint in all the horrible, horrible bleeding and clot spam, I started seeing:

TICK IN 5 SECONDS.

This seems to happen roughly once a minute.

I have no idea what caused it, why it is doing it, or how to make it stop, or if it means I broke something. So, it might be hard to help, but any attempts would be appreciated.

Search your settings for "TICK IN" and see what turns up? If it's not some sort of triggered echo, then it might be the built in tick timer. (Which client? zMUD, I'm assuming.)

Zmud (cmud?) has some built in tick thing as well. You can see it count down right above your input line (status line it is I think). I can't remember anymore how to disable it again, just that I had some epic fights with this non-sense too.

EDIT: I think if you click on it again it pauses?

It looks like it was ZMUD that I broke, not palisade. I some how turned the tick timer on, in the middle of fighting.
