Why are old old characters waking up from long sleep recently?

Hello. Dumb question. I have been talking to people and over time there has been talk of old old characters gradually waking up after a long time sleeping, gradually for some weeks now though maybe it has begun a few months back. Don't really know. So, my question is - What is going on? Is there some big big event going on? Thanks.

P.S Lusternia rocks!

I don't think so. You'll eventually notice that while some people come back others leave. It happens all the time. wink.gif

I can't speak for others, but Ibaesha woke up because I wanted to play Lusternia again after three years off. There was no event that brought it on or anything like that.

Was it really three years? Damn, didn't seem like it.

I came back after my absence because I'm out of boot and MOS training. Hurray and all that, took like a year. I also moved to Japan. So... probably all coincidental, though I definitely noticed the same trend.

But, as was mentioned, it happens all the time - people fade away, come back, and new faces pop up all the time.

It's really all just random I guess. I had been ill when I left and then became very busy. I regained a rather large amount of free time over the summer and started coming around some. The more I visited, the more reasons I found to stay. If I had to list one reason for returning, it would definitely be for all the wonderful people I talk to and spend time with. You all know who you are. wub.gif

I'm recently back as well, though for reasons other than those already mentioned here.

It just felt like the right time to come back after 2 1/2 years of not playing.

The reason why this is a "new" thing, is becasue Lusternia is finally old enough for "old" players to "come back" after being gone tongue.gif

What's going on in this thread?

Old people are back. You're one too.

(technically I am too, but I only quit the character, not playing. laugh.gif )

tongue.gif I missed Ibby. Three years, though, time is just flying by. Now that I think of it, my own dormancy was probably at least a year and a half. sad.gif

Aww. I missed you too. wub.gif

Um,

Player (rl) reason: Had been going through a rough spot but things seems to have settled somewhat. Rejoined Lusternia by accident really and, its like, reading again an old treasured book and rediscovering how wonderful the journey is. If that makes sense. Also noticing the trend too.

Character (rp) reason: Azman Elderbranch tried to commit suicide decades ago but instead was embraced by Great Spirit Tree. Azman Elderbranch was released by Great Spirit Tree some seven years back and has been pondering intently why?
