If there is such a thing (I'm far too lazy to browse the forums, and this will also get people who know of such a system all in one place so I can compare them) I'd be very interested in buying one.
With credits.
For realsies.

Been tried by Vadimuses. Arguably, he didn't know enough about Lusternia to make one, but he's made a successful one in Achaea.

However, Nejii has made the only thing with a semblance to a system on Nexus. Nexus cannot code wounds, ruptures, or anything like that properly. So that's why you really can't make a system on Nexus.

All I really need is affliction curing, I guess. This would be so I can at least put up a reasonable defense if I get jumped while playing at school. I have MUSH with a system at home.

As for wounding, I guess I could just...avoid fighting warriors?

If you are starting a brand new system, I highly recommend mush client over Zmud or Cmud.

You can cure pretty effectively (of course, not as effectively as on another client) IF you are one hell of a manual curer. Krellan and Nejii have learnt to do this well. I used to be able to manage sort of.

I use a Nexus system that consists of a load of aliases echoes and poorly done triggers. It's fine for bashing and can get me by on a 1v1 (if I'm lucky and my opponent sucks >.>), but against a decent opponent or in group combat, I'm pretty much unable to cure my afflictions. It's pretty good in choke though, IMO (better than nothing because I think most other people have to turn theirs off).

Of course, forgetting my aliases and mistyping them is often a factor when I'm panicking tongue.gif.

It's probably better if you go with MUSH or Z/CMUD for a system. Theres a lot of free ones floating around too!

I'm not looking for an automatic win system. I just need one for basic affliction curing. Maybe I should just make mah own...

Well, good, because such a thing doesn't exist.

Making your own can be very fun, just be prepared for a big time investment, even for "basic affliction curing." But at least with your own system you can easily fix things that break, and you know exactly how it works.

But there are some nice free systems around if you just want to pick one of those up.

Slightly off topic, but... BOOO CMUD angry.gif ! Everytime I go through the pain of converting my existing zMUD code, I find that cMUD is STILL too unstable to be useful. I mean, cummon Zugg, it's been how long?
Shurimaru2008-10-03 18:10:19
I'll probably go ahead and make my own! I like the idea the more I think about it. Remember, I'm using Nexus. Anyone got any tips?

Have fun? It takes a while to do be patient.
Shurimaru2008-10-03 18:27:52
Well, patience goes without saying. I mean, hell, one doesn't make autocuring without a lick of patience. And tons of testing.

You know that TF can run from a flash drive and doesn't require installation? (at least the windows version, or so I hear)
Esano2008-10-04 08:00:09
I've run mushclient from a flash drive. A lot of things can be run from a flash drive.

Then I don't see why anyone should waste their time on a nexus system..

Ya really. What a waste.

And for that matter, why do otherwise experienced people continue to waste their time on nexus? I'm looking at you Shiribot.

Nexus is nice. I would still use it if it had a system for it. I would take the hours I would need to set it up too.

Let's work together on one, Kial!
