Okay! So I've been thinking about transing out riding for some time and getting me a cutsie pegasus named... I haven't picked out the name yet, but anyways before I do that there's been something bugging me!

Defence - Your mount affords you some defence in combat.

While upon your steed, you will have a greater chance of avoiding physical blows. The greater your skill in riding and the stronger your mount, the more defence will be afforded you.

In Achaea this reduces damage taken to you... and actually makes you dodge more!

What does this do here? Anyone know? Free cookie for those who are helpful.

You'll be knocked off your mount so often, you wouldn't even notice a benefit.

I asked a specific question, and it was mainly for bashing, not combat. Malarious kind of cleared it up for me... Still would like people to give me their input though.

To be honest, to trans riding is like transing Aethercraft. Hardly used and when it is used, it does very little. I'm not quite sure on the bashing aspect of it, but I do know that if you have another with you who can prone a target, you can TRAMPLE the poor unsuspecting person.

Meh... I'm just wondering if, as a Knight, I'll start to dodge mob attacks while mounted... or take a little less damage... No one's answering these questions!

I don't think you can name pets the same as a player... In Achaea they stopped it 'cause people were abusing it to jump people and have them target the pet by name instead of the player. I think. I know something like that happened though!
