In the Marvel Universe, Earth-616 seemed to be at peace once again. For many months, the world's greatest supervillains have been quiet. Too quiet, though it seems. At one of the newly formed Avengers meetings, where many of the world's superheroes are gathered a large explosion instantly kills many superheroes. Entire superhero teams were annihilated, just like that. It was revealed that the supervillains had banded once again as the Masters of Evil. A war between superheroes and supervillains began. Now, the war has ended, the world left with just eighteen superheroes and supervillians had all been killed or incarcerated, or so they thought.
The eighteen have gathered to plan to rebuild the future earth. Late at night, an explosion was heard. The rest of the superheroes discovered that the Green Goblin was disguised as one of the eighteen and instantly killed Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, with a single pumpkin bomb. The sixteen superheroes easily overcome the Green Goblin, but his last words shook them all. He seemed to be talking into the crowd of superheroes, and the reality of his two words hit them all hard.
It is now DAY ONE. With sixteen alive, it is nine to lynch.

Oh, I forgot the rules. You all know the basic ones, so I won't go into those. A few things to note:
-I will not tolerate stupidity.
-Light non-game related chatter at night is fine.
-Ragequitting and trying to take someone down with you just means you die twice.
-Night should not last more than 24 hours. If you have a night role you might want to use and know you will be away for 24 hours, please let me know, so I know to wait for you.

Also, I'd just like to say right now, that people who use super meta knowledge of the comic books, to try to figure out who is on who's team and all that jazz will get a big FOS from me.
The confusion is so annoying, and is too easy to manipulate people with.

Well, we know from the flavour text to introduce the game that a lot of the Marval cast are dead (minus the 18, and two just died ) so we don't know exactly who has died (again, except for those two!) and if any of their "teams" have survived to this day. We also know that things aren't exactly "team" based, due to the fact that there's a traitor (or few?) amongst us.
So who we think is good, may be bad and vice versa.
