Hi.

If you are an American, please plan ahead to exercise your right to vote tomorrow.

If you need motivation, imagine yourself 20 years from now, trying to explain to your child why you didn't vote in one of America's most historic elections.

For the first time ever, Democrats outnumber Republicans in this part of Nebraska, but it's close. It's kinda cool to think that, for once, my blue vote matters.

You're vote does matter.

Fortunately, I live right next to the place I vote at, so I'm going to roll out of bed tomorrow morning, vote, then come back to bed. smile.gif

It's all pointless. We all know that the government is controlled by a Shadowy Puppetmaster and either candidate would merely submit to my his/her will.

Your election gave the Canadian election many lols, thank you. suspicious.gif

But hopefully this works out for you!

I'll be headed to the polls tomorrow, and I'm dragging my brother and his new bride with me. biggrin.gif
Rakor2008-11-04 04:28:32
Obama's got this won but if you want to vote go ahead anyway!
Dugan2008-11-04 04:30:33
Early voted.

Not that it matters too much. Politicians are all the same, regardless of party. My only hope is that one side does not take the presidency and has the overwhelming majority in both the house and the senate.

I'll definitely be voting, and encourage everyone else to do so, as well, as it's unwise to make assumptions.

Many people assumed four years ago that W couldn't possibly get re-elected.

Also remember that not just the Presidental vote is on the ballot. Lots of propositions and bonds are up for decision, and these (at least in California) are some pretty big ones.
Stangmar2008-11-04 05:05:35
I'm waking up and driving 80 miles to my hometown to vote tomorrow(forgot to register where i'm going to school or get an absentee ballot). I know McCain will take Utah, i'm more interested in the congressional election. Gotta get rid of Matheson the House.

Don't care a whole lot for either side, just picking the lesser of two large evils.
Unknown2008-11-04 05:07:56
I don't understand why people say that in -every- election. There's always someone though, who talks about how evil both candidates are and how both are corrupt.

Neither McCain or Obama is evil.

Sarah Palin, maybe.
