Also someone should probably start a new thread for this, it's too mixed up with the actual topic of this thread.

D-U-N. Done

If a mod wants to move the relevant posts over thisaway... (I would, but I'm not one)

As far as my two cents on the matter, I personally believe that the bible has about as many holes in it as your average sponge factory, but that's due to human error. I believe GOD said it right, we just forgot to take the cotton out of our ears. And then when we translated the thing we put our own values on each translation, the Greek to German added German values and influences to it, then the German to English added British morals, and the Catholic church reacted to that by reimposing their morals on the thing, and in all the catechisms and schisms and re-translations, I think it'll be damn near impossible to produce an infallible translation of HIS word at this point because none of us will see it. So it's not possible to take the bible literally, which too many seem to believe is the case, and really one should focus on the overall themes and messages that we were supposed to pull out of the stories and sermons and letters, which tends to be "Hey, guys, this dude here? This GOD guy? He loves you. All of you. So stop being dicks to one another and to HIM. Let HIM know you love HIM too, while you're at it."

And yet, even if Christianity went away Gay Marriage still wouldn't be approved by the majority of the world.

So...

Well you should just test that theory then, all you have to do is single handedly destroy christianity.
But seriously this isn't a conversation that needs to happen on these boards. I think it's highly unlikely that anything good will come from it.
