Is Earwort really not growing or am I blind or something? Or is someone stripping it in such an intelligent way that it -looks- like it is not growing?
It hibernated on Saturday and there's only 3 earwort total right now. Each time I went back to check it -right after midnight- to see whether it had grown or whether someone stripped it, it was still the same: exactly 3 there.
I noticed this once before with myrtle already. It didn't seem to grow for rl days on end. It showed the same behaviour too. Like it never came out of hibernation or something. Huh?

Is it guarded? Good way to find out if someone's harvesting it or not.
Oh, and is this a single spot or multiple? I planted a bunch of herbs recently and everytime I went back they were at 7. I think someone's been making it routine to harvest them often.

Not guarded.
But I was there several times right when midnight hit. No one else was on the plane and the herbs hadn't grown.
Did you plant earwort or something else?
EDIT: Two spots right now. One with 1 herb and one with 2 herbs. -Exactly- as it has been for roughly 2 rl days.

Nope. I don't bother with off-Prime herbs for obvious reasons... :| I planted juniper and weed for reagents (hah, and somehow, by the best luck I've ever had, no one bothered to harvest Oleanvir after I replanted colewort. woot) and they were at a constant 7 for a while, but I'm sure it was just someone harvesting (in my case).
No idea what's going on. Could a demesne be stopping earwort from growing?

It's not melded.
Plus at the beginning I tried to strip the one herb there was in hopes that when it repopped from extinction (again) in a different location that new herb would grow. But it didn't.

I already got all the colewort I needed
@ shadow: Might be a bug? Try having someone use regrowth and see if that one starts growing any?

Starting to think it really is a bug.
I had someone nature growth/ protect one. It actually grew. The one that wasn't growth'd / protected did not grow.
I had two put back there with the ecology skill. One grew, one didn't.
They really look pretty stuck in hibernation for some funky reason (though you can actually -plant-, they just don't grow on their own as they should) ..

This is clearly an admin bardspiracy.

Earwort supposedly being in peak now but still not growing makes me a really sad panda. Cursed be Lusternia's combat focus. More power to the trade skillz.

Maybe it not growing when it is supposed to be growing is the precursor to some sort of cool ecological disaster event!

I doubt it since this has been an on-going issue with various herbs for quite a while. I distinctly remember it with myrtle a few hibernation periods ago.
