I think it's funny that they actually believe they're going to get what they're looking for.

It was flagged for removal.

Ah yes, luckily, in my infinite wisdom, I saw that coming and saved it.

First I would like to thank a couple of people. The family that offered us the 36" television - it is very much appreciated but unfortunately it's not going to be be big enough for what we need. The woman who offered us the white refrigerator - again that was very kind of you but we really need to have a stainless steel one. The couple that had the 1999 Honda Civic. We prayed about this last night and the lord let us know that we're going to be better served with at least a 2001. And finally the young woman who was so kind to offer us the two tickets to the steelers game - we'd be happy to take them if you could perhaps find us two more - maybe the people who have the season tickets next to you would be willing to donate them...we'd be so thankful if you could ask them when you sit next to them during the next game.

So unfortunately we haven't really been able to find what we need so we're reposting, please take a moment and ask yourself what would Jesus do? We're pretty sure that he'd be busy getting us what we need instead of flagging our ad:

Help! We have a six year old with autism and are in deperate need of four tickets to the 12/28 steelers game against the browns - since we have a special needs child we won't be able to pay anything. Since we don't have a car we're also hoping that some generous soul would find it in their heart to offer us a car that they're looking to get rid of (preferrably model year 2001 or newer). As a parent of a special needs child we're also hoping that people will find it in their hearts to provide us with some warm coats (gently worn is fine and we prefer that they be somewhat "in style").

Also, our refrigerator and television set are on the brink of dying so we're hoping that someone would be kind enough to offer us one of each. For the refrigerator we'd prefer something in stainless steel and a side by side would work out best for us. Our special needs child really enjoys his video games so we're also looking for a 42 inch tv (originally we were primarily looking for an LCD but after praying about it we've decided that if it's the Lord's will that we have a plasma display instead we'd be ok with that). Our special needs child has been asking us for one of those new Nintendo Wii game systems for Christmas. If there is anybody out there who could donate that to put under our tree we'd be eternally greatful - we're hoping that you could also provide a few games (our special needs child really enjoys action and sports games and they seem to occupy his time the best). UPDATE - A few of the items are on sale at best buy this week so for those who have expressed an interest in helping but didn't have any of the items required by our special needs child here's your chance to pick up one or several of those items. Please be sure to get the extended warranty and we'd appreciate it if you'd arrange to have things delivered (or if you could deliver them that would be even better).

Finally, our gas is about to get shut off. We're 90 days behind in our bill so we're hoping that someone would see it in their heart during this holiday season to help us (the bill is up to almost $700 and if they shut us off they're going to want a $500 security deposit in order to turn it back on). It frightens me and keeps me up at night thinking that our special needs child might not be able to stay warm this winter.

Thank you so much, god bless all of you!

Wow just wow

That's like a big bottle of fail.

Am I the only one who read that as a sarcastic reply to a (possibly) scam post? Or just in general a sarcastic / ironic post that is supposed to point a finger at a 'certain' type of people?

Either way, it doesn't sound serious to me.

Yeah. Surely that's not sincere...

Well I just said it because of how the previous posts here sounded. >_<

That is clearly a jib at people who use god/disease/children/diseased children as an excuse to be lazy ass f***s.

The sad thing is, judging by the first paragraph, people are falling for it.

I have a special needs child who can barely see our little tiny TV. It would be great it someone donated a nice 42 inch plasma screen TV, oh and while you're at it I saw the Playstation 3 is now on sale, so you could throw that in too, my special needs child has always wanted one. Why not Rockband while you're at it, my special needs child has always wanted to play the drums. My special needs child also LOVES playing Lusternia - his character's name is Ardmore (this is his father posting), and he's been talking about getting a cubix for soooo long, but we just can't afford it! -big sigh- If anyone would be so generous to get my special needs child one, I would be ever so greatful. If Jesus wasn't so busy saving all your souls from eternal damnation from not doing this for my special needs child already, he would have got it for my special needs child, but alas, he's too busy saving all your souls.

Thank you.
