Sarrasri closes her eyes and inhales deeply, absorbing the scent of her surroundings.

As it is released with a quiet grinding, Sarrasri carefully lifts a chalice of beaten silver and white pearls from the marble block.

Softly glowing with moonlight, a long, stout broom of ancient ash rises out of the recess and into Sarrasri's hands.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt bows her head in brief meditation.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Stern Albion, empower our actions with your wisdom, let us cleanse your followers and help them shine anew."

Shimmering into view, a black slate circle etched with a pentacle descends from above, slowly falling to settle atop the grassy mound.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt steps up onto the pentacle, leading you with her.

Sarrasri begins to wield a long, stout broom of ancient ash in her left hand.

Grasping the broom firmly by the shaft, Sarrasri moves to the centre of the area and begins sweeping, moving outwards in a spiral motion.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Breathe deeply of the air around us, that you may be inspired to proceed forward from this point onward."

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt removes a white candle from her robes and places it on the edge before lighting it's wick.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Feel the warmth of the fire, that it may banish the chill and darkness of shadows."

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt steps back from the candle and briefly walks to the western edge.

Sarrasri ceases to wield a long, stout broom of ancient ash in her left

Sarrasri begins to wield a silver and white pearl chalice in her left hand.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt tips the chalice over you, allowing water to flow over your body.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Receive the cleansing of the water, that it may wash away any impurities."

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt gently sets the chalice in front of you.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt walks to the northern edge of the circle and kneels, placing her palm firmly on the ground.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Feel the support of the earth beneat you, that it may always give you a steadfast foundation."

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt stands and raises her arms to the sky.

Sarrasri tilts her head back and looks up at the sky.

The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Mother Moon, I call upon thee! Luna, First of Maidens, grant us the light of youth and open the way to forgiveness of the past."

Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land in utter darkness.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt drops her arms briefly, standing in silence. After a short amount of time, she raises her arms once more.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Mother Moon, thrice now have I called upon thee, and beseeched they aid."

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "With forgiveness, succor, and wisdom may thy light fill Ried. Mother Moon, let your pale fire cleanse her body, soul, and mind of any past actions, speech, or thoughts that she seeks release from."

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Three in one, Mother Moon, grant us that pale fire of purification on behalf of Ried!"

Bright radiance fills the sky above the forest as pale moonlight covers Moondance Tower and silvery flames pour down from the Moon herself. A large, fiery pillar flares up towards the sky.

Great gouts of silvery flame pour down from the Moon above, striking the centre of the jet-black pentacle. The flame forms a large pillar, flaring up and outwards until settled. Eddies of argent fire swirl inward, burning and consume the very air around them.

Glowing brightly, a shaft of moonfire rests upon the centre of a black pentacle. The pillar shifts and broils, small flames breaking off and trailing into the sky. At one moment waves of heat burn the air as the pillar flares orange-red, at another a freezing cold seems to pulse rhythmically outward, small frost forming on the surface of the pentacle. As the colours of the flame shift from argent to red to icy blue, an ethereal haze fills the area, giving a strange luminence to the surroundings.

Sarrasri's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Caress the moonfire, Ried, and be cleansed."

You caress, embrace, and finally step into the pillar of moonfire, and you are instantly enveloped in the silvery flames. Oddly, all you feel is a cool sensation as it covers your body from head to toe.

Within the fire you begin to see images of your past actions, both of good and ill will. As you're contemplating what you've seen, a hot and searing pain begins to course through your body, as though you are burning alive. As quickly as the heat appeared, it disappears, soon replaced by an icy chill so deep that you wish for death.

Silvery conflagration consumes your body and you feel as if you've been thoroughly cleansed. Upon leaving the flames, all strength flees your limbs and you fall to your hands and knees, trembling slightly.

A shaft of silvery light falls across Sarrasri's face, who bows her head in reverence.

Sarrasri welcomes you into her coven.

You whisper, "That was incredible."

Sarrasri links hands with you and the other members of the coven, forming a sacred circle.

You join Sarrasri in a ceremony to bless this location to Spirit Moon. Soft silvery light suddenly sparkles through the air.

You let loose a long breath from your lungs, exhaling slowly.

Looking towards the sky once more, Sarrasri Talnara, Arrow of the Hunt says, "Thank you, Mother Moon, for your gift to us beneath your light this night."

Standing quietly at the edge of the pentacle, you watch as Ried tentatively enters the fiery pillar. It begins to expand violently, leaving no view of her within.

Looking towards the silvery pillar, you begin to see twisted images in the flames. Within a few moments, you notice the temperature of the room change to sweltering hot, the flames of the pillar glowing a bright red. Suddenly the temperature changes again, becoming intolerably cold, the pillar no longer a flaming red but an icy blue.

The air gradually warming, you notice a silvery form emerge from the pillar of moonfire. As the form collapses to hands and knees, the silvery fire upon it disperses and you realize that it is Ried, slightly trembling. Swirling up into the sky, the silvery pillar of flames disperses, a residual warmth lingering in the air.
