I hope I put this topic in the right place, sorry if I didn't!

I'm running Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 and I have gotten the packages for Sun Java and the Java JRE and the nexus worked ONCE and now it freezes on download. (right around 84.7%). If I hit refresh, it will stop at 15%. When I first got Sun Java, it worked once, then this happened. Then, I got Java JRE, and it worked once and now its freezing again.
I'm using Mozilla Firefox, btw.

I was wondering if there is a free MUD client that works with Ubuntu that I could use, or if there is a way to fix whatever this issue is (because even when the nexus does work, triggers don't. I have to do them on the PC with Windows XP.

Please help! I'm a newbie and I really don't want my character to be deleted because I don't get on in time..

Any suggestions?

I personally use Ubuntu 8.10 with Tinyfugue. Version 5 beta 7 (current is 5 beta 8) is available as the tf5 package, so just sudo apt-get install tf5 if you want that. Can also get the source and compile it for 5.8.

Bear with me, I'm rather slow when it comes to all things Linux-related (I grew up with Windows and Macs). I sudo-apt'd Tiny Fugue..but is this a program? If so, where do I find it? Or is it just a plugin that will now allow Lusternia to work? Now, when I open the nexus, the entire browser shuts down!! sad.gif

Thanks so much for dealing with me! smile.gif

Once it's installed, you run it from the terminal by typing "tf" as your command. Once inside, to connect to Lusternia you'd go /connect lusternia.com 23
