Darkened stairwell.
A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground.
You see exits leading east and down.
Library of the Dark Fates.
A low, broad couch sits here, luxurious red cushions resting on a sweeping iron
frame. A ravenwood rocker stands invitingly here, its plush blood-red cushioning
promising comfort. Pushed against the wall, a large bookshelf stands ready to
hold various literature. Veritus n'Rotri stands here with a slight hunch. A
painting of Nifilhema at the Weeping Well is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall.
A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. Raezon,
the Forbidden is enshrouded in a pale aura of azure flame that wreathes His body
with energy. He wields a Blade of Night, glowing darkly in His left hand and a
Blade of Day, glowing brightly in His right. Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the
Amaranth is here. She wields a bloody symbol of pain in her left hand. You may
use the BOOKSHELF commands here.
You see exits leading up and down (closed door).
You kneel before Raezon, the Forbidden, swearing your allegiance to him.
You stand up and stretch your arms out wide.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth clicks her tongue on the roof of her
mouth and takes her robes into her free hand, ensuring they do not get in the
way.
Raezon, the Forbidden nods his head at you.
Raezon, the Forbidden chuckles long and heartily.
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Very well, Nepthysia."
Nepthysia's eyes twinkle enchantingly at Raezon, the Forbidden.
Elegant music in triple beat begins to emanate from the very air about you, as
Raezon, the Forbidden begins to lead Nepthysia in the waltz, moving His left
foot forward.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth takes a step back, maintaining a formal
distance from her dance partner and keeping up with His every move.
Raezon, the Forbidden smiles darkly, His eyes locking onto hers as His right
foot moves forward and then hooks to the left, then shifting His weight, guiding
Nepthysia elegantly through the dance as the music continues.
You have emoted: Othero watches the scene, looking at Raezon with a slight look
of confusion.
Continuing to guide her through the dance, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "How have
you fared in Our absence, Nepthysia?"
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth giggles in the most girlish of fashion,
smiling broadly and flushing red.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "I have
done well... been of good use. I have missed Your presence greatly though."
Chuckling softly as they continue to move through the waltz, their dance slowly
shifting eternally towards their left, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "There is
much use to be done. We intend to go no where but here, Nepthysia, ever again."
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "No more
chasing lost mysteries my Lord?"
You sit yourself down on a ravenwood rocking chair adorned with amaranths and
make yourself comfortable.
Shaking His head, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Much has been found, but there is
much to be done here, if there is to be survival of mortal races."
p raezon
He is a radiant immortal and a flickering aura of cerulean flames glimmers about
His presence. His lithe form stands taller than most mortals, unbowed by the
ethereal raiment adorning His frame. Eyes of blue steel stare dully from a
countenance that has an inscrutable nature, serene and vacant. A circlet holds
back jet black hair cascading to his shoulders that seems to be continuously
blown about in an unseen breeze. Tensed muscles coil with a feral energy that
seems to dance across His form echoed by the scent of newly charged air after a
lightning strike. He is wearing a circlet of beaten silver, a shimmering
scabbard, and ethereal robes of coruscating twilight.
Raezon, the Forbidden almost glows with nearly god-like power.
Tilting her head and flashing a curious expression, Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of
the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "What is there that I can do to
ensure this?"
You struggle to stay awake as your eyelids shut repeatedly of their own accord.
Smiling gently as He draws somewhat closer to Nepthysia as they continue their
dance, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "There will be much to be done in the coming
days. For now, wait for Our call, for it shall come. Many shall perish in the
tragedies and trials that will afflict the Basin of Life."
His tone dropping slightly, softening, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Magnagora
will not survive it, Nepthysia."
Shifting and rumbling underfoot, the earth itself trembles in the grasp of vast
Geomantic powers.
Nepthysia gives a horrified gasp.
A small smile on His lips, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Yet neither will Celest,
nor either commune. Mortal races shall be broken into small pockets, the nexuses
gone, the links to the higher planes lost."
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "Well..
I suppose Celest being ruined is no small comfort but still.. Magnagora has been
my home for many many years my dear Lord. What will I do without it? And no way
to see my Lady.. my Nifilhema, there is no surviving that loss.."
Veritus n'Rotri curls his lip and sneers arrogantly.
Veritus n'Rotri says, "Those foolsh know nothing. Our city will crush them very
soon."
Veritus n'Rotri says, "My house hash long served this powerful city, and will
continue to do so."
Drawing closer still, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Those who swear fealty to Me
shall survive, however. Some may fall in battle, but they shall know instead of
the power of Nil and Earth, they shall instead know My power. Infinitely
knowledge and power shall lie at their hands."
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "You shall be able to pierce the planar veils
without nexus or rift, Nepthysia. Nifilhema shall be yours to visit at your
whim."
Your exhausted mind can stay awake no longer, and you fall into a deep sleep.
You tumble off of a ravenwood rocking chair adorned with amaranths.
You are asleep and can do nothing. WAKE will attempt to wake you.
You open your eyes and yawn mightily.
You stand up and stretch your arms out wide.
You are already an insomniac.

Skulls and bones are used as paperweights and bookends on many of the library
bookshelves here, painted with black or red paint and carved and smeared with
evil runes. Gilded books of black leather and stacks of dirty parchment and
scrolls are haphazardly arranged on the many bookshelves here. Surrounded by
dusty bookshelves, at the centre of the musty library is an enormous globe of
dark crystal, set upon an obsidian pillar. The whispers of dark spirits
throughout the library seem to originate from the pulsing orb, which appears to
be an artifact of great power. A low, broad couch sits here, luxurious red

Raezon, the Forbidden inclines his head politely to you.
His lips twisting into a smile, Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Is this not what
you would like? In the time that follows these trials and tragedies, We shall
forge a new empire."
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "One founded by those loyal to Us."
Nepthysia draws back her lips and clicks her teeth menacingly, searching for
someone to bite.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "I will
not deny that that notion is appealing."
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Upon the throne of which We will sit, surrounded by
those who made such possible."
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "The alternative, sweet Nepthysia, is all will
perish, and nothing will survive."
Softly, you say to Nepthysia, "Mother, we could rebuild and transform with Our
Lord. I could have the knowledge I've wanted. You and Nariah could have the
power I know you want."
Raezon, the Forbidden nods his head at you.
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "You will no longer be subservient to some
half-formed gods. It is Me and Me alone you shall serve - to these half-formed
you will be equals."
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "You
know I adore specifics my Lord.. Whom do you refer to as half-formed?"
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "The Demon Lords of Nil."
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "You will be above serving them. You shall be their
equals."
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "Instead, those of lesser races like elfen and
merian shall revere you."
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "As they
should!"
Nepthysia scoffs arrogantly.
You nod your head in agreement.
The electrifying shimmer of arcane magics fills the air, accompanied by
structured High Magic chanting from nearby.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says to Raezon, the Forbidden, "I swore
myself to You when I was but a child, I hold to my oaths no matter how many
years pass."
Smiling slightly, carrying Nepthysia on through the dance, Raezon, the Forbidden
says, "Good. Listen for the call, Nepthysia."
Raezon, the Forbidden says, "But for now, let Us dance."
You have emoted: Othero smiles softly as he watches the dancers.
You have recovered balance on all limbs.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth nods and tucks the cloth in her hand
under the belt of her cassock before setting it on Raezon's shoulder.
It is now the 18th of Urlachmar, 225 years after the Coming of Estarra.
At the darkest hour, the bell tower suddenly springs to life with sound. The
shadows are given voice as its hallowed tones ring in celebration of midnight
over Magnagora.
Raezon's lips twist into a wide, dark smile as he pulls Nepthysia close to Him,
the twin forms moving across the floors of the Library of the Dark Fates in a
flurry of expensive cloth and azure flames that wink in and out of existence
about them.
Slowly Raezon's form begins to fade away, cool azure flames brushing against
Nepthysia's form as she is left dancing alone. "Listen for the call. It shall
come," His voice echoes softly long after He Himself has faded.

You open your mouth but say nothing.
"Damn it!" you swear in frustration.
Miarelle arrives following Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent.
Nariah arrives from the up.
A hint of curiousity in her eyes, Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the
Heresiarch asks Nariah, "Whom?"
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks around suspiciously.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth takes a deep breath and takes the cloth
from her belt, exhaling as the cloth drops.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks you, "Where is He?"
You say to Nepthysia, "He is a fake. His blades are fake."
The corners of Nepthysia's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.
Staring around the room angrily, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent
says, "Damnation, we could have had Him."
Veritus n'Rotri licks his dry, parched lips with gooey saliva.
You say to Nariah, "He left. I didn't want to seem aggressive while he talked to
mother and he left before I had a chance."
You rub your temples in frustration.
Irritably, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to you, "Why didn't
you alert me sooner?"
Mechanical clankings rumble from deep beneath the ground, as though some great
clockwork engine lay beneath your feet.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch lowers her gaze silently,
despite the nagging confusion swimming within her.
You say to Nariah, "As far as I know he could of heard any sort of tell I give
to you."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to you, "This was the perfect
moment, with one of His own and our knowledge, we could have cornered Him."
You say to Nariah, "He cured me of my afflictions. He seems the closest to a
real divine."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent snaps her talons angrily, sparks and
a lone whorl of cosmic fire coming to life for a spell before dissipating.
The electrifying shimmer of arcane magics fills the air, accompanied by
structured High Magic chanting from nearby.
You sit yourself down on a ravenwood rocking chair adorned with amaranths and
make yourself comfortable.
You have emoted: Othero starts to rock the chair as he gives out a long sigh.
Somberly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "I want to know what
He is. He is the most powerful, sane and intelligent of Them all. Perhaps
confronted He would cave and in exchange for our loyalty still, reveal such to
us."
You say to Nariah, "He has not spoken to Lady Nymerya. We share our beliefs of
him and I would be suprised if he did not seek her out."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent straightens up suddenly and gazes
over the library slowly, her golden eyes searching each corner.
Absently, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks you, "She still
follows Him, does she not?"
You nod your head affirmatively at Nariah.
Nepthysia grunts noncommitally.
Nepthysia sits herself down on a broad iron couch and makes herself comfortable.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to you, "The Morgfyre's that
were sighted have not spoken to me either, as His Chosen I would have demasqued
Them with ease."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent pauses and returns her eyes to those
gathered, her eyebrows pulled close in a frown.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch closes her eyes, listening
quietly.
Haunting whispers echo around you as primal nether energies manifest and fill
the air, coalescing into Morgfyre, the Legion.
You get up off a ravenwood rocking chair adorned with amaranths.

Benevolent is here. She wields a damning symbol of domination in her left hand

Nariah narrows her eyes to thin slits.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch keeps her eyes closed, despite
the movements in the library.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks around the library, her eyes
looking over each Morgfyre slowly.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"You speak Our
name."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"We are One and
Many. We are Legion."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "And who am I?"
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"One who shall
serve, or perish."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent keeps turning around slowly, trying
to keep each Morgfyre in sight.
Miarelle yawns suddenly and mightily.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Why should I serve You?
Explain."
Veritus n'Rotri grins with a sickly, yellow tooth grin.
You have emoted: Othero looks around the room as he counts the Morgfyres.
Each of the Morfyres, identical to the one beside it, swirl around the room,
ever moving, unable to remain still.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent turns around quickly, her eyes
checking reassuringly where each of the Morgfyre's is.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"For failure to do
so shall result in your demise. Serve the Emperor, or perish. There is no
alternative."
With force, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "Who am I?"
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"One who shall
serve, or perish."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent lays a hand upon her navel where the
sigil of ouroboros resides and closes her eyes for but a second before opening
them again, her eyes narrowed and glistening angrily.
Morgfyre, the Legion slowly wakens, looking fit and refreshed.
Simply, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You are not the
Legion."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "I serve the Legion."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"We are the Legion.
Yours shall soon be dead. No other shall exist but Us."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "Where is your pendant?"
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent turns around, looking at the chest of
each effigy of Morgfyre, her eyebrows arched.
Miarelle smiles softly.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch opens her eyes slowly, her gaze
falling upon each Morgfyre in turn.
Icily, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "The pendant of the
Void, the Legion wrestled it away as He traveled it and mastered it."
You have emoted: Othero tightens his grip on his symbol.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"Who among you shall
serve."
Nariah scoffs arrogantly.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"We shall claim it
when one such Legion perishes. It shall not be long."
In a sibilant hiss, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent exclaims, "Begone
apparitions!"
Sharply, you say, "A terrible fake. You can not even remember the mask you
wear."
Coldly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You have no power over
me, I am the Legion's Chosen, I am the High Priestess and I am under He Who Is
Many's aegis."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "None here shall serve you."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"There shall be no
aegis soon, false High Priestess. Your Legion shall perish, leaving only Us.."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent turns around, trying to keep her eyes
on each apparition, her hand gripping her symbol absently.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "What are you?"
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"Days. No more."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"We are the Legion."
Miarelle opens her eyes wide with shock.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You are a legion, that you
are, but not the True God Legion of the Second Circle."
Shaking her head, turning around again, speaking to each apparition, Heresiarch
Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "That you are not."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "What are you?"
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"When He has died,
We shall consume His essence. We shall be the Legion, for no other shall exist."
Miarelle chews on her lip, deep in thought.
You crease your brow in a frown.
Dismissively, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "He slumbers to
where you cannot reach."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"He does not
slumber. He dies in agony, alone, abandoned."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"As do others. We
shall soon be the Legion, for no other shall exit. Serve, or perish."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent narrows her eyes and hisses quietly,
her hand on her navel again reassuringly.
Looking at one of the Morgfyres, you say, "Where did you come from?"
With a wistful look on her face, Nariah touches a Sigil of the Ouroboros
embedded deeply around her navel.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch closes her eyes silently.
With certainty, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "He is alive
and well, nonsense, I can feel it."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"So certain, are
you?"
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"We are Legion, in
shape form and make."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"Soon, We shall be
the Legion, for no other will exist."
Nariah creases her brow in a frown.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "He is Legion, none shall be
like Him for none have the power and even if you devour Gods, you will not be
Him."
Suddenly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "Where are They...
what have you done with the rest?"
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"We are Legion. We
shall be the only Legion upon His death. We shall alone be Legion. The Legion."
You say to Nariah, "Who is they?"
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to you, "The Gods..."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent crosses her arms at her chest and
turns around slowly.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"They should not be
your concern. They shall soon be no more."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You are different."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"You shall perish
before the, however, should you choose not to serve."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks thoughtful and says, "You are
not akin to our Legion."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent tilts her head to the side, listening
to the voice.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"And if We are? What
does it matter. We alone offer salvation."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You speak in a cacophony of
voices, all at once, you cannot control it."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"We speak together.
We speak as one.."
Exhaling a hot blast of steam, clanking pipes shake violently to life before
stilling once more.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You... are not like the Elder
Gods, you are something different..."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "What are you?"
You crease your brow in a frown.
A timid, female voice says, "I can abandon control, and each can speak their
turn."
A boyish, musical voice says, "But together, we are stronger."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "The Legion spoke in different
voices yes, for all those that He devoured, struggled within Him. He could not
digest Their essence fully, not being a Soulless."
Nariah ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."
A booming, masculin voice shouts, "Yet instead We shall speak as One!"
You mutter, "Come ... twilight of the gods. S... your mas..... no r...rse."
Morgfyre, the Legion narrows his eyes at you in an unnerving manner.
Veritus n'Rotri rubs his hands together in anticipation.
Morgfyre, the Legion smiles widely, his form churning and expanding. Suddenly
wasps of effervescent energy wrap about you, and your vision goes black.

Morgfyre, the Legion snaps his fingers, manifesting a length of multi-hued fire.
The cord of fire's brilliant colours flare as he lashes it out at you, scourging
your flesh while cauterizing the wound.
You have been slain by Morgfyre, the Legion.
Your body begins the process of transforming into a lich.

monolith is on the ground. There are 7 Morgfyre, the Legions here. The twisted
remains of Othero lie here. Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth sits here
upon a broad iron couch. She wields a bloody symbol of pain in her left hand.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch is here. She wields a thin
emerald band in her left hand. Nariah frowns deeply, lines creasing her
forehead. She wields a damning symbol of domination in her left hand and a
golden paintbrush in her right. You may use the BOOKSHELF commands here.
You see exits leading up and down (closed door).
You are dead and cannot do that.
Miarelle picks up the corpse of Othero.
You are dead and cannot do that.
The powers of Nil are yours and you drink deeply of the darkness, transforming
into the powerful form of a lich.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Please, let us speak, do not
be angry, Legion."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"Do not mutter in
Our presence."
You notice Miarelle's eyelids are beginning to droop.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent turns around slowly again, her eyes
wandering to you briefly, checking if he is fine.
The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across your lips as you glance at Nariah.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "What do you offer salvation
from?"
You tell Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent, "I have a theory."
Sinister ritual chanting echoes faintly from afar, as shadowy, cloaked figures
slip across the corner of your eye.
Slowly, weighing her words, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says,
"You seek our obedience and thus you also seek our help... you can see we are
powerful. You can see my brother just rose from that which you thought will
dismiss him."
Nariah tells you, "Do not mutter in His presence."

A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"The end. Magnagora
shall sink into the earth, Celest shall be washed away by the seas. Serenwilde
shall die of disease and blight, Glomdoring shall be consumed from within. Serve
the Empire, and you shall instead live."
Licking over her lips, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says,
"Necromancers can be powerful allies... Legion, but we do not serve for naught."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"You will have
existence".
Snorting, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Existence in and of
itself is dull."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"Then have
oblivion."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "We have seen ominous
portents."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "Why should we believe though
that such necessary mean the end?"
You notice Miarelle's eyelids are beginning to droop.
Miarelle rubs her eyes tiredly.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"Then do no believe.
Your threads shall fray and snap. It is your decision. Others serve the Empire
and are sworn."
One of the many manifestations of Morgfyre, the Legion turns to Nariah, His eyes
burning brightly.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"Including you."
Arching her eyebrows as she turns around in the middle of the library again,
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "We are Necromancers. The
Tapestry of Life holds no power over us."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"So you believe.
Where shall you draw strength when Magnagora is no more."
You say, "We are not bound by the Fates. These predictions are only one option
for us."
Frowning, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "The Astral Plane...
or we shall build another Nexii."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "Building a Nexus
take power. You will have none. The Astral Plane will be beyond you, for without
a Nexus, you cannot reach it."
Shaking her head lightly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says,
"Wrong, I am an Astrologer, I travel to the Astral Plane at will."
Nepthysia's eyes sparkle with amusement.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union,"So there is power
enough upon the Astral Plane to build a Nexus?"
Miarelle's eyes repeatedly shut as she tries to stay awake.
Miarelle rubs her eyes tiredly.
With a slight smirk, you say, "The Nexii were built once. They can be built
again."
Pursing her lips, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You seem
rather knowledgeable about the Nexii."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "Go. Alert the
others. Limitless power awaits Us. We do not need mortal slaves."
The form of Morgfyre, the Legion, dissolves into howling streaks of colour,
which disperse into smoky wisps of aetheric ribbons that slowly dissipate.
Nariah opens her mouth as if to say something, but pauses.

You utter a deep, rumbling laugh.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "What does it
matter?"
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "You have no need
for Us. We have no need for you."
Nariah curls her lip and sneers arrogantly.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "You'd think you'd know that we
are naturally curious beings."
You smirk.
Miarelle's eyes repeatedly shut as she tries to stay awake.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "And therefore, we ask, where did
he go."
Nepthysia grunts noncommitally.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Actually, I'm afraid They do
not know us at all."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "Your curiosity
shall be abandoned."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent turns around on her heel, gazing from
Morgfyre to Morgfyre.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "However, you shall
instead perish."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You know much but you are
experiencing the Lusternia of today for the first time... where have You been
all this time, I wonder."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent flicks her talons idly in thought.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "We will tell you
freely."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks somewhat surprised at the reply
and cants her head, listening.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "If you are among
the rabble who plea for your lives after Magnagora has been devoured by the
earth."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "If you are not,
then you shall be dead already. And it shall not matter."
Ignoring what was said entirely, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent
says, "You took on the shape of Him... an old shape."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "Then it shall be
too late to serve."
To herself, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "How would you know
it.."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch appears thoughtful, her gaze
distant.
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "There is nothing
left for Us here. Good luck with oblivion."
Nariah dismisses Morgfyre, the Legion, turning away from him and standing aloof.
You say, "Others are building empires. You should know you are not alone in your
goal."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to you, "It is the very same
Them I suspect."
A cacophonous thunder of thousands of voices speak in union, "Suspicions.
Assumptions. Many things will need to be removed from your kind."
The form of Morgfyre, the Legion, dissolves into howling streaks of colour,
which disperse into smoky wisps of aetheric ribbons that slowly dissipate.
You say to Nariah, "Sister, I assume we have come to the same answer."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent turns around the library again,
checking if all are left before she slumps onto the couch, clearly exhausted,
the tension wearing off.
Nariah sits herself down on a broad iron couch and makes herself comfortable.
Grimly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to you, "Half-formed
templates."
You nod your head at Nariah, showing your acceptance.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch whispers, "Half-formed.."
With a sharp laugh, you say to Nariah, "Slay your masters."
You sit yourself down on a ravenwood rocking chair adorned with amaranths and
make yourself comfortable.
Looking away, a sigh welling up in her chest but she never releases it,
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Morgfyre... just the sight of
Him.."
You begin rocking back and forth on a ravenwood rocking chair adorned with
amaranths.
Nepthysia pats Nariah in a friendly manner.
You smile softly at Nariah.
Miarelle shifts her head a little, puzzled by something in a dream.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks over to Miarelle, checking if
she is asleep and then lowers her head into her hands.
You say to Nariah, "Is it similar to finally seeing the form of a god you have
served but have never seen?"
Miarelle shivers in her sleep.
Miarelle's smile in her sleep quickly turns to a frown of horror as she twists
and turns.

Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "Tis like asking if seeing a long
lost love is like seeing someone you've never known but dreamt about."
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "Significant difference.."
Softly, you say to Nariah, "Then I am sorry, sister. I do not know how you
feel."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks up slowly and nods at Nepthysia
with a faint smile on her lips.
A look of pride beams across the face of Miarelle as she sleeps.
Miarelle opens her eyes and yawns mightily.
Miarelle opens her eyes wide with shock.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent straightens up on the couch and leans
back, indignant expression on her face.
Nepthysia grunts noncommitally.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "How then?"

Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch lifts a hand to her head
silently.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent frowns and says, "What have they done
to our Gods... they have them trapped... somewhere, somehow."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "That is how it sounded."
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "I am more interested in knowing
what they are."
Matter of factly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "And they
definitely are not just one consciousness."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch murmurs, "Slowly.. Silently..
Stealthily.."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch asks Nariah, "Are you certain?"
Turning to the side, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to
Miarelle, "Mmm?"
Lowering her gaze, Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch says, "I
apologize for interrupting.. but."
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "They have varying ideas of what
the future is like, that's for sure."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to Miarelle, "Speak."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch asks, "Are you certain it's more
than one conciousness?"
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Unless they, it, thinks it
amusing to pretend to be few Lyreths at once and argue with itself..."
You say to Nariah, "If it is more then one conciousness then one of them is
leading them. It is obvious they are not all capable of planning something out
yet at least some of this has been planned."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Unless, of course, we are
indeed speaking of a legion like entity."
Worriedly, Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch says, "It said in but
days."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent rubs her cheek slowly.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Raezon said that he has
returned because of the chance to make the empire."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch asks, "Raezon.. returned?"
You say, "And the Morgfyres obviously have a empire in mind."
Comprehension flashes across Miarelle's face.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "I wonder if they are the cause
of those unusual behaviours of the earth and mountains, those supposed
cataclysms to come, or simply using the opportunity."
You say to Miarelle, "A fake Raezon."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to you, "So did Raezon actually,
I am to be his Voice."
Miarelle nods her head at you.
Nariah snickers at you.
You peer at Nariah unscrupulously.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says to Miarelle, "That is what we
actually came here for, to confront and demasque the fake one."
Nepthysia raises an eyebrow questioningly.
You say to Nariah, "Must you always get the jump on me?"
Amused, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "He asked!"
"Heh heh heh" you chuckle.
Nepthysia rolls her eyes.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks thoughtful and says, "Actually,
I should have asked for a Xion-like laboratory but upon the Cosmic Plane."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch says, "Zenos.."
Miarelle looks about in confusion.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "I will next time."
Miarelle's ears perk up with a sudden interest.
Nepthysia rubs her temples in frustration.
Nariah smirks at Nepthysia.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "I am not amused."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks thoughtful and says, "Zenos?
Supposedly defeated."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "I wonder..."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "The earth shaking..."
You say to Nariah, "The storm."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "Could one of the other
Soulless trapped beneath... something, be stirring in fact?"
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "And that is how we see it?"
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch says, "I don't know.."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks thoughtful and says, "There is
still the sore."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent looks thoughtful and says, "We need
to slay one of these and try putting it into the sore, I wonder whatever shall
happen."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch asks Nariah, "May I.. be
excuse?"
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "Everyone has their own theory.
It has been said it is pure chaos, some said it is the power of Lusternia itself
leaking."
Nariah nods her head at Miarelle.
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch says, "Excused, rather."
You crease your brow in a frown.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "I'm inclined to believe the book
of Tau."
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch curtseys slightly ad turns on
her heel as if being hurried along, rushing from the room.
Miarelle stands up and stretches her arms out wide.
Miarelle leaves to the up.
Mechanical clankings rumble from deep beneath the ground, as though some great
clockwork engine lay beneath your feet.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "I'm tired.. Trillillial."
You smirk at Nepthysia.
Nepthysia grunts noncommitally.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "Too much dancing."
Nariah nods her head at Nepthysia.
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "Which.. if thats to be believed
the chaos idea is ridiculous."
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "I have to rest in any case,
this has been..."
Tiredly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "You should know."
Nariah gets up off a broad iron couch.
You say to Nariah, "Sister, next time we have some free time we should pour
ourselves some tea together."
You smile softly at Nariah.
Nariah nods her head at you.

WAKE will attempt to wake you.

painting of Nifilhema at the Weeping Well is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall.
It shall
come," His voice echoes softly long after He Himself has faded.

bookshelves here, painted with black or red paint and carved and smeared with
evil runes. Gilded books of black leather and stacks of dirty parchment and
scrolls are haphazardly arranged on the many bookshelves here. Surrounded by
dusty bookshelves, at the centre of the musty library is an enormous globe of

throughout the library seem to originate from the pulsing orb, which appears to
be an artifact of great power. A low, broad couch sits here, luxurious red

Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth sits here upon a broad iron couch. She
wields a bloody symbol of pain in her left hand. Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the
Benevolent is here. She wields a damning symbol of domination in her left hand

Heresiarch is here. She wields a thin emerald band in her left hand. You may use

You see exits leading up and down (closed door).

Your senses return to you as the blackout ends.
Morgfyre, the Legion snaps his fingers, manifesting a length of multi-hued fire.
The cord of fire's brilliant colours flare as he lashes it out at you, scourging
your flesh while cauterizing the wound.
You have been slain by Morgfyre, the Legion.
Your body begins the process of transforming into a lich.

be angry, Legion."

Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "We have seen ominous

Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent asks, "Why should we believe though
that such necessary mean the end?"

Miarelle's smile in her sleep quickly turns to a frown of horror as she twists
and turns.
Library of the Dark Fates.
A low, broad couch sits here, luxurious red
cushions resting on a sweeping iron frame. A ravenwood rocker stands invitingly
here, its plush blood-red cushioning promising comfort. Pushed against the wall,
a large bookshelf stands ready to hold various literature. Veritus n'Rotri
stands here with a slight hunch. A painting of Nifilhema at the Weeping Well is
proudly exhibited on a nearby wall. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular
monolith is on the ground. Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth sits here
upon a broad iron couch. She wields a bloody symbol of pain in her left hand.
Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent sits here upon a broad iron couch.
She wields a damning symbol of domination in her left hand and a golden
paintbrush in her right. Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch is
here, sprawled on the floor. She wields a thin emerald band in her left hand.
You may use the BOOKSHELF commands here.
You see exits leading up and down (closed door).
Lady Nepthysia, Daughter of the Amaranth says, "Mm.. I would think not."
Quietly, Heresiarch Nariah d'Iasani, the Benevolent says, "I hardly think so.."
4222h, 4803m, 3855e, 9p, 18570en, 21788w elrxkb-
Penitent Miarelle, Handmaiden of the Heresiarch lifts a hand to her head
This was pure awesome. Huge huge raves to the whoever posessed fake Raezon and the band of Morgfyres.
EDIT: Mod might want to throw this into the event scrolls sub-forum.
Nepthysia2009-01-02 04:10:37
said it already and I'll say it again. Raezon > Morgfyres
Nariah2009-01-02 04:27:03
Much love to admin for that, especially putting up with us for -so- long, good half an hour at least by my clock. I kind of expected the first thing Morgfyres would say to be, in a butler voice, 'You rang?'.
And we're all -really- excited about Raezon since he seems the most intelligent of all the imposters!

Maybe Raezon is real, just all the others are fake.
Krackenor2009-01-02 18:14:19
That would be nice, but he still has 'almost godlike power', so I think that he's a fake. I have, of course, been wrong before.
