A few possible Order War+Aetherspace ideas:
1. Forced entry into the godrealm
There would be a limited number, say 3, very difficult (near old black dragon strength) aethercritters that do not track to ships until attacked floating around the god realm region. By reducing the health of these creatures to a certain level, they become receptive to a combateer SHOCK which will convert them into a temporary dock and portal room at random somewhere in the god realm, lasting about 20 minutes. The explanation being that the creature has been leeching the energies of the god realm and you use this conduit to get into the bubble. Defenders can kill these creatures outright to prevent them being used for entry.
2. Invasion Platforms in aetherspace around the realm
The attacking order can create invasion 'shrine' equivalents in the aetherspace region around the god realm that drain essence from the Order as long as it remains, and also generates nasty critters when attacked. The defending order would need to attack it using the same mechanics as attacking another ship to destroy the shrine. As an option, the cost in setting up these platforms may involve killing a certain number of specialized aethercritters around the god realm (ufanqs in Lisaera's, mulotoques in Viravain's, etc). Order members would be able to use a whistle artifact equivalent power to summon an aethership to their realm's dock, or maybe Avatars could conjure up an Order-specific instance of a temporary ship.
3. Killing realmspace critters provides dust that can be good/bad
When hunting the spawns in a particular realmspace environment, in addition to glaetherial dust they also drop essence dust, which is collected in an aetherhold the same way. You could then use this dust for positive or negative effect on that god realm. For example, every 20 tonnes of 'Fain essence dust' could then be traded in either for an item that causes constant drain of health/mana/ego of Order enemies in the room it is used for a RL day or so (in addition to providing an essence boost to Fain when used), or an item that... um... causes the effect of defensive powers in that room to be halved for an hour or so (in addition to causing an essence drain to Fain when used). I have no idea what would be beneficial/harmful in Order Wars, but obviously useful room effects would be substituted. This type of specialized dust would decay very quickly (as would the room items), so you couldn't store it up beforehand.
Edit: If any of these ideas were implemented, a temple power of detecting ships that enter the realmspace, or even that just checks for any ships in realmspace would be nifty.

Another idea:
4. Jinsunjolting the god realm dock causes loyals in that realm to flee randomly for a number of seconds
So in addition to the normal effect of eventually dislodging ships, by attacking a god realm dock from aetherspace all the mobs (both invasion/loyal) would start running around crazily like some mobs do when they go into a panic. This might make influencing much more difficult and defending against the invasion mobs worse because they're suddenly running every which way very quickly.
Any others?
