I love Jane Austin and consider her the mother of the modern novel (Henry Fielding being the father). Thus, I'm conflicted between being appalled and amused by... Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

I for one am disgusted, and am tempted to go Resident Evil/Project Alice/Project Nemesis on whomever is to blame for this... this... abomination. Shotguns, blades, neck-snapping action. Whatever it takes. Not cool. Not cool at all.

Wow, I don't really know how to react to this. Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books. While I find the concept amusing I can't help feeling a bit of sadness that Lizzy's been reduced to fighting zombies between her social and verbal spars with Mr. Darcy. I hope she still gets the man in the end.
