So I was considering getting a pet but for my pet I don't really want him to be sentient. So that 900 credit deal thing kinda doesn't work out for me ... does anybody know if the things in the 900 credit deal can be rearranged like instead of sentience, I can swap for another 150 trains or something?

The price of a pet is now 500 credits since beastmastery came out.

Ya ya I know that but theres a deal thing where its 900 credits for sentience, phoenix, 150 trains in beastmastery and 5 reactions. Its in a short section near the beginning of HELP PETS.

Beyond this, you may purchase add-ons, either at the time of buying the pet or any time afterwards. For 900 (BOUND!) credits, you can get a pet with the phoenix inherent ability, sentience, 150 trains worth of any other inherent abilities, plus five reactions.

It's a deal because 150 for phoenix plus 150 for sentience plus 150 for beastmastery inherent abilities and 125 for five reactions puts you at 1075 credits if you get a base pet plus these abilities individually. So what I'm wondering is if this deal can have other things swapped in for the current things in it.

I got phoenix swapped for delivery for my Eirlys. E-mail artifacts@lusternia.com - I am sure you can sort this out with Estarra&co.

EDIT: This was the 900cr deal.

Oh okay well that sounds good. I guess I'll throw them an email to see what I can swap around.

On the topic of pets, why do they sometimes automatically emote when interacted with? Example of where this gets awkward:

You pat Seothanis, the giant river otter in a friendly manner.
Seothanis, the giant river otter snarls contemptuously.

It only happens maybe 2-5% of the time, but it's -really- annoying. I got a sentient pet so that -I- could determine its behaviour and responses to interaction. So basically... is there some way to suppress this autoreact that I don't know about?

I got a bloodcurdling scream when I patted him on the head. sad.gif

Her >_> Maybe -that- is why you got the bloodcurdling scream.
