All right, I was considering switching my Tertiary skill. As is, I'm a Blacktalon, trans all three guild skills along with trans Discipline, Resilience, and Tailoring.

However, I'm considering switching my Tertiary from Ecology to either DW or Runes. Currently, about the only use I see out of Ecology in combat is Familiar Sting or Familiar Berserk, as most of what I do is 1v1, currently.

However, which do you think would be better for combat, both 1v1 and on a larger scale? Any input, suggestions, and criticisms are welcome, even if it's on how to better utilize Ecology.

Thanks.

Both dreamweaving and runes are very solid for combat these days.

Dreamweaving is pretty much going to be blackout, narcolepsy, and sleepmist. Don't bother trying to do anything in dreamform because you won't get far other than to annoy people. Unless you want to annoy people, in that case, dreamform is awesome. Dreamform is also really fun for RP.

Runes is good for rad rune in defense situations i.e raids on ethereal Glomdoring. It also has a rune now that really helps a Blacktalon towards their instakill, but even without that rune it is very easy to make runes work for you. The new skills in runes are pretty lackluster in and of themselves, but malign can be helpful in a saplock situation for piling affs on with one of the affs working for you if you figure out the trick to it.
