So, you guys are probably going to laugh at me for this...

Is there any way to make the text bigger in mushclient?

I'm super pregnant and the only way I can comfortably play on my laptop is with the computer laying on my legs while I look at the screen over my belly. The problem I've run into is that the screen is like... 3 feet or something away from my eyeballs, and I cannot read the ittybitty text very well from that distance.

It would be easier for me if I could pump the font size up a bit.

Can this be done, or must I attempt to find a different comfy position?

Also, I'm new to mushclient in general, been using the website one. Any of these plugins that you seriously recommend for newbs like me? T-T

I've got it now, Ried was kind enough to answer me in-game.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!

I wouldn't laugh at you for asking questions, but I might poke fun at your name... hide.gif

What? Flowers are awesome!

Stealing my national flower, will ya. D:

Yeah, and a rather well-known song. tongue.gif

Lol, Not stealing anything, it's not like people think I wrote the song or something. My dad used to sing it to me when I was a baby, and I use it as a name on the internet sometimes. *shrug* why is it apparently such a big deal to people?

It's not a theft thing. It's a "that's a silly name for a character" thing.

Don't be too surprised if you see an alt named Bacon. It just might be me stalking you.

Since when has a girl being named after a flower been a silly thing?

Rose, Lily, Ivy, etcetera

Edelweiss is the very rare occasion. :3

I think it's mostly taking an OOC thing that doesn't exist IC and making it a name. In general, I like flowers and names for flowers, it's just a preference for an RP game to avoid stuff like that.

For example, if I were to make a character named Pinecone...

Right but see, the word 'Edelweiss' doesn't mean 'flower' in Lusternia. It's about as nonsensical as 'Tervic' in that neither word means anything (save as a name associated with a person) within the context of the game.

I blame an inability to separate game from reality tongue.gif

EDIT: I think pinecones exist in Lusternia, because I swear to the pie in the sky I've seen pine trees.

The HELP NAME files does permit "native american-esque names". 'Diamond (a world-renowned type of gem) dais (a raised platform) is acceptable apparently. Edelweiss seems tasteful to me, it isn't three words or two long, nonrhythmic ones.
