Two logs, one where I won, one where I lost. Ignoring the part in the second log where I screwed myself over by sniffing Soulless after I threw it (still don't know how that happened), any tips and advice on how to do better?

What the hell was Haiden doing? It's like he stumbled onto an accidentally victory because your curing failed. He spammed the same leg attack even though you had to be way beyond critical wounds.

1) parry and stance.
2) Don't aeon without any set up. It's pointless.

Man, watching Haiden try to kill someone is more lulz than the log I read of Krin trying to ppk into Rika's head stance and Rika the Demigod warrior BC taking an excessively long amount of time to kill him and almost dying. As for tips, yes learn to stance and parry, hinder moar. What invests were you using?

Well, for the most part he was just cleaving your legs, stance legs and parry would help with that. If you find yourself getting behind on healing, hangedman to buy time. I didn't really pay attention to your timing but it appears to me like your attacks and angel hits aren't going together. On the first log, it doesn't even look like you were using your angel for the majority of the fight.. Also, contagion gives you random plague affs such as epilepsy, pox, and scabbies. It appears to me like if you just get your stance/parry together you'd be much better off. Even a static stance legs/parry head 50 parry chest 50 or full on head 100 would have been better than what you had going there. He didn't appear to have much of a plan besides keep hitting knockdown and hope something happened.

I do keep static parry/stance, but I think the fact that I'm only Master combat doesn't help. Um... I'll check the angel thing. Pretty sure I was using it through most of the fight. The action/angel mismatch is, again, mostly from the BC/axelord stun.

How did his curing fail? I'm just curious.

There are no time stamps so it's hard to tell exactly, but Haiden did cleave for the knockdown so my guess is that Razenth had the time to cure the broken leg and stand, only there was no attempt at curing and Haiden got a slitthroat with slickness and it was over.

I also assume Razenth doesn't have gedulah.

After you use heretic the enemy will glow twice, indicating the windows during which you can use infidel. If you wait until the second glow to use infidel I think you should have enough power to inquisition before infidel goes away.

Is that the same with infidel? Also, does the time before and between glows stay constant, or is there variance?

You might try my prompt decorate function with the HPC timestamp from the Treant thread (I think that's where I put it). If you want HH:MM:SS timestamps, you can edit the function, but you'll have some trouble in getting millisecond accuracy with that.


And, I'll have to see what failsafes didn't fire there and why. Bizarre.
