Not sure if many of you folks remember me. At all. But that's beside the point.

I'm thinking of making a return to Lusternia. However, I has a leetle problem in that due to reasons of major laptop issues, I had to downgrade from Vista to XP, losing zMUD in the proccess. I thoroughly enjoyed zMUD for its ease of use as far as programming macros, aliases, and triggers went. And while it wasn't the fastest thing in the world I liked it. Not to mention the fact that it let me bind to the Function keys (ie F1-F12), which I'm used to being my skill hotkeys in other games. However, as I said, I lost zMUD, and with it my product registration key for the same (and the systems, but I was just using a modified version of Palisade anyway, so that's no real issue to retrieve, should I go back to it).

I was just wanting to gather some opinions on clients, curing/combat systems, and the current state of combat so I know whether or not it's even worth it to go through the trouble or if I should stick to the Java or Flash clients and stay non-combatant.

Zuggsoft keeps a record of your purchases on their website. You can log in and retrieve your registration keys.

zMUD is broken. Combat systems for zMUD have all but dried up and disappeared. Join the rest of us on MUSHclient!

You can bind F1-F12 (in the global settings tick the box that says "F1, F6 are macros") in MUSHClient as you can with most clients. True about the "user-friendly"(functionality-hating) interface, but it's well worth learning. It's not too difficult to do the simpler things (basic macros, triggers, etc).
