My semester just ended and I have lots of time for Lusternia, I intend to use it gaining as much experience as possible for my Ur'Guard Daved. He's a krokani bonecrusher with the following skills:
I took out the inepts for spam reduction, I intend to buy credits in a few weeks to trans resilience, what other skills do I need for all-out bashing? Should I switch to human now, or wait until a higher level for the stats?
EDIT: Daved's level 68, will be 69 tonight by the way.

More athletics and learn necromancy would be great. Putrefaction is awesome, as are a few later athletics skills.

what specifically is helpful in athletics after strength?

Surge. Plain and simple.
Oh, and Puissance, though that's not good for bashing.

For bashing-
Mostly surge. But as a Krokani, you're not going to get a whole lot out of it.
Immunity is actually situationally nice, but I wouldn't keep it up unless you're bashing something that masks crotamine and have power to burn.
Numbness is nice as well, for those really extreme situations.
Unknown2009-05-08 12:06:35
Transmute could also be nice if you don't have or don't intend to use surge.
Dakkhan2009-05-08 20:13:52
don't forget magic after you get strength. the resistances will definitely help you in more of the magically oriented bashing areas. Also, if you trans necromancy you won't have to worry about people having to give you lichseeds all the time. And you can putrify. mwahaha
Celina2009-05-08 21:38:23
Krokani. Have fun with transmute and surge. I wouldn't bother with those until you are 80-90+. Especially if you hunt something that causes bleeding.

so my observatory->krokani->aslaran->shallach->verasavir loop is too inefficient now, where can I solo at lv.71 effectively?

Try the Undervault? You'll have to watch out for mantekarrs and fishers, though

If you can get there, xion is wonderful, especially if your org has a harmony construct

Could always try throwing in Mulanesh or Gorgogs for a change of pace too, though the latter might be a pain if they still tend to bunch up in clusters a lot.
Jack2009-05-09 17:09:35
They do. Oh, how they cluster. I wouldn't do gorgogs till you've got transcendent magic, it helps with the tanking a lot.
Unknown2009-05-10 00:12:38
The gorgogs move around enough that you never have to take more than one at a time. But then, I'm an MD so have decent magic resistance.

Buffy the vampire slayer will get you from about 80 to 95. If you tack the first few seasons of Angel on the end maybe a bit farther.

If you tack on the Dollhouse after that, you'll get to demigod for sure.
Kelysa2009-05-10 03:19:35
Eww gross no. Firefly maybe. But not Dollhouse.

Dollhouse is getting better. I didn't like it either, however, after the most recent "Omega" episode, I'm starting to enjoy it.
And yes, Firefly is badass too.

But yeah, a little video window pinned to the top over my zmud window got me through alot of bashing/influencing/ Sometimes you just gotta bear down and stare at the screen for hours on end doing things that are not quite fast but at least pay off in the long run if you want it >_> vampire slaying distracts a bit from mashing enter repeatedly or spamming around the same area constantly waiting for repop or things to go laidback because you're too lazy to go anywhere else less safe.

Yup, true. I did the same thing.
Hulu.com plus the freeware Always on Top Maker (www.fadsoft.net/AlwaysOnTopMaker.htm) will make your grind less grinding.
