Hm. I was told that transferring credits across games was fine, and saw multiple examples on the Achaea forums. Is transferring credits acceptable, but gold not? Where could I find the help file/policy statement that disallows it?

HELP CREDIT TRANSFERS covers the basic premise. It's harder to track transfers between games, but the sharing of things you acquire in an IC manner (such as gold, even from the sale of OOC credits) is frowned upon. The credit transfers you see posted here are (or should be) entirely OOC credits purchased or won outside of the game itself.
