While reading something today, a curious conversation came out over the Serenwilde aether. Why isn't there a way to convert angels/demons into fae or ladies/daughters? I realize they don't convert 1:1, but bear with me.
It could be like the nexus creatures turn into power, based on their type. Takes so many points to make a fae or lady/daughter, maybe imps/cherubs are one point, and so on up to Archdemons/Archangels are 4. Takes maybe 10 points to make a daughter/lady.
Not only would this put a different sort of conflict into the game, it may change the current conflict a tad, if the forests have a way to recoop their losses when people convert fae.
Thoughts?

1. RP reasons.
2. Killed cosmic creatures can be dumped in the Well of Souls for essence. Of course, they cry out, but it's close.

Sure, if Celest can convert fae too.

If the Supernals weren't bound, Raziela can do that.

Raziela has a special bind beyond the other Supernals. Basically, you're not driving any additional conflict except providing another mechanism to help the communes.

At the rate things are going, cities might as well make long term friendships. Communes are still able to bind the Supernals/Demon Lords...perhaps make a way (if not already) to shut down their Avatars? (other than killing)

Yeah, but should we ever do this quest, she won't have that special binding, supposedly.

Haha, right. I'll worry about that when that day comes.

I was thinking about something. When the SC was planning this event, I think we were operating on the premise that this was a counter quest to the original forestal event that bound Raziela. So why is there a counterquest to our counterquest? Raziela is sad that her status quo is to be bound with painful biting thorns.

That's the assumption I was under too at the beginning, back when I thought this was going to turn out into something neat. I'm actually sad that isn't what it was.
Razenth2009-05-26 21:18:20
See, once I found out about killing Avatars.... that's when I knew this was probably going to be a bad idea. Cause now the communes have actually something they care about threatened. Before, when it was just whack Maeve and kidnap some fae... eh, I know how you guys hate her. We might have had a few skirmishes and stuff, but no lasting damage would've been done, the alliance with Mag would've been temporary, and Raziela would be unbound and everything would be fine and dandy. Then hai'Gloh and Xion I. happened and the :censor: hit the fan.
Shiri2009-05-27 01:44:25
We care about the fae, and every time we think about not caring about Maeve because of how terrible she is, some new story element jumps out of the woodwork like that the fae can't survive without her (which apparently was rescinded but whatever!) or the fae flip out on us.

And she should stay that way. Also, refer to Alacardael's signature.
