I'm just curious to know if there are other cmud systems out there. Please let me know if anyone has decided to start building one or not. Off topic sort of, Cmud has been crashing almost everytime a small amount of spam happens through my window and not sure why that happens. Would appreciate the help ,thanks again.

That's not much to go on, really.
I recommend you let Zugg know, especially if there's a crash report you can send to him.
P.S. This is precisely why I quit using CMUD.

Basicly whenever i'm using the system for it's reflexes at some point in time it will say not enough storage or something to that measure. Like it can't hold the information any longer and just shuts down.

Have you tried clearing your buffer?
Dysolis2009-07-16 19:21:43
I had used the bootvars command if that's what you mean and when I used that my reflexes didn't quite run up to par. I would have to shut down cmud instantly and come back on fresh and doing that in the middle of a raid, spar or hunt is annoying.

Whats your text buffer set at? (i.e. how long can you go before you don't have a copy of what happened before)
Dysolis2009-07-16 19:44:24
Text buffer? is that something I can change in the settings?
Vathael2009-07-16 19:45:47
It is, yes. I am quite fond of the 500,000 line buffer mush can handle..
Dysolis2009-07-16 19:50:58
Cmud settings and not preferences right?

I know! I loves it.

Maybe I should up mine from 25k. :/ I lost a good deal of my fight against Meir to my buffer line of death.

I just log everything.

The larger your buffer, the more system resources it uses. A smaller buffer may help alleviate your problem.

I think I found what you guys are talking about ,there is a tab under preferences session , scroll back , as Maximum lines to save in scrollback window. Mine was originally set to 1000.
Dysolis2009-07-21 15:54:57
I have a picture of what happened.
Dysolis2009-07-21 15:56:22
This is the picture.

Yeah, it looks like you just don't have enough RAM to do whatever it is trying to do. I recommend sending Zugg the error report, just in case. Nothing we can do to help you, I don't think.
Posting the image would be better than posting a Word document with the image in it, too.

Eh, I have 2.87 GB of ram. That should be enough right?

I actually went through all that with him, since the error message does sound like 'not enough RAM to handle the buffer', but then he told me he had ~3 gigs of RAM
