Firstly, I would like to make Statues of objects. This was the original reason why I wanted statues as I thought I could make statues of things and such.
Second I would like to be able to make stands/pedestals, that you can place items on (thus being able to make museums in rooms). Also would like to be able to place statues of the objects on pedestals.
few other things I would like: Family portraits and self-portraits

Stands/Pedestals strikes me as an artisan thing...
Plus, that way, you could have special-looking pedestal designs.

That would work as well. The blacktalon have a pedestal for our omnibus. I always thought it was just some custom thing we had request to Viravain when we remade the guildhall.

It probably was, artisan's can't make pedestals.
But we should. We could probably put them under smalltables. Yep.

So did I, sort of.

Commodities: marble 10 onyx 10
Appearance:
an onyx and black marble podium table
Dropped:
Standing in the corner here is a black marble podium, shaped into a small table.
Examined:
Simple in design, this table stands chest high to the average human,
allowing one to stand behind it in order to deliver a message or sermon
to those around it. Softly polished black marble makes the base of the
table, while glittering onyx rises from the centre in a sloped surface,
allowing for papers or a book to be placed upon it.

But I want an actual "lectern" or an actual "podium", or an actual "pedestal", not a podium table.

That's not a lectern, that's a podium. You stand on podiums, you stand at lecterns. At least that is what my speech teacher OCD'd on us.
