Tae'dae Knight- Axelord or Pureblade?

I've decided to make a side character that will be a tae'dae knight who won't be transing anything besides his main combat skill. I'm choosing tae'dae because I like the race and I like influencing, even though I also intend to get back into PvP at some point as my system slowly progresses.

I've always enjoyed the two-handed weapon specs more, but Tae'dae sure are slow! If you were slow like that and only had the weapon proficiency, which of the two would you pick and why?

Thank you dribble.gif

Axelord, it's viable for non-runed, non-demis thanks to stun. Wonderful stun.
Damadreas2009-08-15 23:11:24
I've gotta go with Axelord as well.

Tae'Dae Pureblade Tracker Pitlord. >.<

I'm not sure you are going to kill anything as a tae'dae
Kyoko2009-08-16 02:52:23
Dont they have godly str and con? o_O

Axelord would be best, since you guys @#$%ing stun like crap and massive damage with no retaliation is... Ow dry.gif

But they're like a turtle swimming in molasses. Slow.

Yeah, but I can see them smacking we poor Faelings into iridescent goo on every hit.

If your knight is joining a commune, hope you plan to rebel. tongue.gif

A very... Seriously... Deadly turtle... In deadly molasses... Molasses that, in fact, impales you into a wall then tears you to peices blackeye.gif

Now, a Tae'Dae DRUID or MAGE would be safe to laugh at biggrin.gif

though I doubt any have been made wtf.gif

Not much more deadly than a Brood Viscanti hit for hit, but they'll be doing it much slower. With a max speed axe, I can hit you under stun, they cannot.
Kyoko2009-08-16 04:03:12
Oh?

I wonder if there are openings in Mag dry.gif

>:D

Oh, one more thing I just remembered, they have very low dex so they have a smaller chance of getting afflictions.
Kyoko2009-08-16 04:21:41
Who, the Viscanti? ohmy.gif

Tae'dae. And Viscanti to a lesser extent.

HRM

-begins reading Mag histories and wearing hobo clothes-
Damadreas2009-08-16 05:29:44
I'd basically assume you'd be epic fail as a Tae'dae short of demigod/rune censor.gif. And to a lesser extent then in the past with the changes to high stats a while back.

And from what I can surmise Serenguard or Ebonguard would be the best guilds for Tae'dae
(Stag and Night imo.)

If you don't mind influencing for levels, tae'dae psionic mage is not entirely bad. Maybe not recommended, but workable.
