Is there any way that bookbinders could sell blank books/scrolls from a shop, and have the author ownership transfer upon purchase? In other muds this wasn't hard to do, and it makes so much sense for the profession. I really think this would increase the profits of the bookbinders, as people would be able to just buy what they need, when they need it, rather than having to hunt down the bookbinder.

Not at the moment, best you could do is sell books in a shop and have a little message telling you to ask the shop owner/someone else to set you as an editor of the book or something, this has been asked for before, not likely to happen because the admins hate bookbinders.

Big whatever, you just got the op vial thingies.
Also, it's not just the admins who hate bookbinders. The player base will maybe need a bookbinder for all of 5 minutes out of every rl year of playtime and when we do you 'people' are never around when you are needed.

That's why I'm asking why they can't be sold in shops. Then you won't have to deal with them!

It's not OP, since it's came out I've made maybe... 6/7K profit from it?
And people know I exist, come to ME dammit, I'm almost always around or drop me a message

Oh my god, you do exist? I thought you were just one of those pigments in my imagination.

It would also help that if it would also give the title, if any, in a shop screen.
Making it similar to the Library view, save for shops.
542672 "The Cheerful Maggot" 8050 gold.
Being able to make a scroll for shop purposes would be excellent. But it would also be nice if more people got their own manses and bookshelves and wanted their own libraries.
