I was thinking since discipline is so barren, maybe a new skill could be added, Fearlessness. The skill would give fear immunity or a % chance to keep from being feared.

I just bet that's why you were thinking that.

Fear aura of course is involved, no denying it.

Why not just make some situations reduce the chance that you will be hit by fear symptoms, rather than blocking the affliction itself? If I'm in a group of twelve, even if I'm terrified, I'm going to huddle with my friends, not run screaming away from them on my own into the darkness.
How about for every ally you have in the room, there's a 5% chance you will not flee on fear - they bolster your resolve or whatnot? If you're in a Coven or Squad (oh, or whatever those psionic groups are called), the chance goes up to 10% per ally. It doesn't block the affliction, it just means you won't panic and run out of the room, so such a simple affliction can't decimate groups but can still be useful against individuals. Maybe there could even be a slight balance/equilibrium loss as your courage wavers when the effect fails?
Maybe wolf and rubeus could give a similar effect - they don't block the fear affliction but increase the chance you'll stay in the room by 75% or so. And maybe composing could take a few moments to actually cure it.
Just a thought!

Edit: On the original idea, I think giving fear immunity to everyone in the game would kill any use the affliction may have. Just like giving Dreamweaver Control to everyone in the game would kill the usefulness of sleep.

Soon the bastardization of totems will be complete, and all pogo-ers, pig nose-ers, and fearless...ers....will have all the perks of taking totems without wasting a skill slot.

I was thinking since discipline is so barren, maybe a new skill could be added, Atheism. The skill would give Crucify immunity or a % chance to keep from being crucified.

I was thinking since your mom is so barren, maybe a new baby could be added. Oh, wait, no it couldn't.
