This small bubble of barren rock floats amidst the vastness of the Aetherways, sheltered from the deadly ravages of the aethers by a translucent shield barrier extending from an aether anchor impaled into the rocky ground. The anchor is held by a long chain attached to the bulk of Aquila, which floats nearby. Aquamage Ione Alinari, Swordfish Sweetheart is here, sprawled on the floor. There is an aetherways portal here.
There are no obvious exits.

I don't have the timestamps on there, but the amount of time between the two unravel and subsequent explode message is REALLY short, too. I could have ascended (And probably just should have), but it'd be pretty bad RP to just abandon a citizen on an anchor to save myself.

Oh yeah, sorry for not mentioning that. No bodies exist because you're not dying ON an aethership, so you get flung to the Portals. Ione had vitae so she popped back up, Meir didn't so he was all demi-spirity. So only two options for him were get someone to sacrifice or just Phoenix. I'm told though that the unraveling was a bug and has since been fixed. So, uh, anchor-sit away!... probably.
