1) When would you typically use Hod? Please be more specific than "when you have a lot of mental afflictions" if possible. (Even if to say "I never use Hod.")
2) What are the relative merits of Hexagram versus Highjump? I know hexagram goes through shields. Any advantage to highjump?

Don't use hod it's pretty pointless
Hexagram isn't targeted, highjump knocks your target off balance when they land

I use hod when my priority is curing a specific mental affliction (notably stupdity) and I don't have herb balance and I don't have focus mind balance.

@Zallafar: most of the time you're probably still better off waiting for that balance rather than using eq and power.
@Lendren: Hexagram hit whole rooms last I checked, whereas highjump was single target. I THINK hexagram goes through cling also.

You might be right.

Focus balance is what, 2s? That and it doesn't require/consume eq, as I assume Hod does. But Hod seems really useful for getting out of Hexen Jinx since it will only cure out the mental affs, which need to be cured before jinx goes away.... Hrm.
