Anyone else here getting it? If so, what platform?

I'd love to, but my Xbox is broken.

For the sixth time.

PC!

I've never been to good with PC FPSes. I just find the controller layout more responsive.

Picking it up midnight for 360, woo. Can't wait to dual-wield Rangers!

I used to always play UT on PC, I find that aiming is much more simple on the PC with the use of a mouse and I could rack up ridiculous kill streaks with ease. Regardless, I'm still debating on if I should get it for 360 or PS3. Suggestions or thoughts?

If I get it, it'll be most likely for PC, if not PS3. So... PS3, always. Cause I love PS3.

I just find that I can get more control out of the controller. Since my trackball died, it's hard to get minute adjustments on aiming, so I tend to have to lean on the Autoaim if I do PC gaming.

only serious chodes dont play fps games on the pc

I prefer them. I had an old Microsoft Trackball, was beautiful. I had perfect control.

confused.gif It works great. You just need a nice smooth roll and be used to it so you can work it right.

BACK ON TOPIC.

The maps look a lot more detailed, and it really is the maps that make the game. World At War was nice solely due to the maps (Dome, Seaside and Asylum, woo). There are the trailers up with shooting through windows and climbing out on ledges... first time I have been as hyped as I am about a game. DUAL-WIELD SHOTGUN, WOO.

How the hell?

The Ranger is a sawed-off double barrel, and Akimbo is an attachment for machine pistols/handguns that lets you dual wield pistols/handguns. It is rumoured that Akimbo is also an attachment for the Ranger, as the RL Ranger is a shotgun that can be fired one-handed.

I'm a huge shotty fan.

PLAYING HARD.
Daganev2009-11-10 18:01:33
I accidently walked into the midnight release of this game last night. Was funny.
Razenth2009-11-10 23:54:12
After reading some reviews for the PC version, I think I'll hold off buying this. No servers? 9v9 limit? wtf?
Vathael2009-11-11 03:34:52
So I got the MW2 for PS3, so awesome. Anyone want to get together and play some matches? If so, post your PSN ID and I'll add you. My PSN ID is.. Vathael.
