You are afflicted with DEMENTIA.
You are afflicted with DISLOYALTY.
You are afflicted with dizziness.
You are afflicted with DIZZINESS.
You are afflicted with ENTANGLED.
You are afflicted with EPILEPSY.
You are afflicted with FEAR.
You are afflicted with healthleech.
You are afflicted with PARALYSIS.
You are afflicted with PARANOIA.
You are afflicted with POWERSAP.
You are afflicted with RECKLESSNESS.
You are afflicted with sensitivity.
You are afflicted with SENSITIVITY.
You are afflicted with STUPIDITY.
You are afflicted with TRANSFIX.

Are those actually separate messages (i.e. it sometimes show in lowercase, sometimes in caps)? Or did you just (for whatever reason) add them twice?

I saw them both ways, so I put both in.

I will say that lately they have all been in all UPPER CASE so maybe they are switching them over. Dunno yet.

Anyone else feel like this was an unneeded illusions nerf? >_>

Will illusions be buffed due to this?

Hey now, blame whoever wrote your system.

I guess this still leaves open illusions that try to fake out which actions a person thinks she's doing.

We're looking into ways to limit impact like that, so if you have suggestions, you can feel free to post them here.

The lowercase fix will be in once I finish aeon healing for Firstaid (which is coming along nicely and near done!)

15 lines of spam every time someone walks into a room is fine.

That'll still happen, it'll just have less effect.

Have any more of these been added? I'm trying to write a Nexus system based on these, but the list seems woefully incomplete.

Also, could the Lore-Wiki people add these to the Afflictions page? I think that'd be pretty helpful to people trying to figure stuff out.

EDIT: Also, should the affs (I.E. You are afflicted with ABLAZE) be in uppercase, or lowercase?

I've been intending to add them to the wiki once Charune tells me they're all done. Revamping the page isn't a task I want to have to do multiple times if I can help it.

What's FirstAid? I must have missed the announcement on that.

I think it's a planned general cure that takes a lot of balance. Basically for newbies to use when they're hit and they don't have the cures.

It's actually a system, in effect. You will type a command and it will automatically cure as many things as possible by sending commands like outr, eat, drink, etc.

Everything should be lower case. If anything is not showing up in lower case, please message me in game.

So you still have to have the cure in order to use FirstAid? If you don't mind me asking, what will the drawback be? A semi-small balance loss? I was just about to start coding a system, but depending on how this turns out, I'm thinking I might not bother
